Sudo bar and grill was a good to place for my associates and I either for a birthday party, friends and family coming in to town a game or simply just to get something to eat. My girlfriend came from New York and I wanted to take her to Sudo (bring in the new year). So I called Sudo at 4:33 pm and asked the time they were starting and if there was a cover charge, I was told if you come before 8:00 pm we would not have to pay a cover charge. So we arrived about 6:45 was greeted by a couple of young ladies who we asked again about seating and cover charges. They said the same info no cover charge and you can sit at a table with no name reservation on it. So we did so about 7:15 another young lady approached us and said you guys are staying after 8:00 pm so the owner said we would have to pay a $15.00 cover charge, so I told her thats not what we were told so she said there is nothing I can do about it do you want to talk to the owner. So of course I said yes. He then comes over and I told him about the phone call and the greeting when we arrived. He said this is new years and nobody gets in free and that the tables were $50.00 each, for new years evening so I said I understand business so I get what you doing but I called and asked when I arrived and was told the same information. He had a I dont care attitude and said it is what it is and walked away. So one of the workers said he should have a meeting with us so we could be on one accord. And the other worker was trying to smooth it over. I the talked to another young lady who I see often (I really thought she was the owner or part)and let her know what happened and showed her the log of the phone call. She was honest and said Im not surprised and also said he always tells us to treat the customers a certain way and did the total opposite I told her I would be writing this review and she said please do so he can get a dose of the reflection in the mirror. Well thats it for me and I will never recommend Sudo to anyone any more. Where I come from we call it thirsty or a dope fein move and I dont know why the young lady said he pulls in alot of money. Really $30.00 breaks him. What would you have done please comment?.......

My first visit I had a blast! Had a table and really enjoyed myself! Food was great, and it became a hot spot after 12! Unfortunately on my second experience I was greatly disappointed with their security procedures. We got two tables to celebrate the last night out for our friend, a breast cancer patient undergoing a masectomy next week. However some individuals whom we did not know sat freely at our tables. We did not say anything and just let it pass because the night was going good, but they proceeded to become ratchet and disrespectful inquiring if we had a problem with them? Things escalated and a grown man pushed me and my sister defending a group of 5 women vs our party of 3. It was not an issue of them sitting at the table but for the money spent it was uncaring of the club to not find out what happen to their customers. We then were all asked to leave after paying hundreds of dollars on what was supposed to be a great night! I will never be back again!

Nice atmosphere, thought that we found a place to hang out. The service was decent, but an appetizer which was about 50 cents worth of food and 2 drinks a piece ended up costing about $70. We ordered a certain vodka and were charged top shelf price and it said something else on the receipt. Be sure and check your receipt before you add a gratuity (15%) is already added in if you spend $40 or more. We are generous tippers if the service warrants it, so being forced to tip whether it is deserved or not is a real turnoff! If you train people to do their jobs properly, you dont have to force people to tip! And dont order the sweet potato cheesecake, it is frozen pumpkin cheesecake with a hint of flavor for $5, probably purchased from some membership club! Needless to say, I wont be back, but I wish you the best!

I have been to Sudo’s a couple of times and we have always had a great time. Recently I had a party for my husband’s birthday on 2/6th . Brittany was our waitress and when I tell you she is the BUSINESS!!! She made sure my entire party was taking care of the ENITRE night she did not miss a beat. I must add she was handling my party and another large party and DID NOT MISS A BEAT!!! Now that is what I call customer service. Major shout out to the owner….She check in on us too!! She made sure we were GOOD!!! Thank you all so much!!! #peiceofcake

Nice staff members, however, did not like the fact that it is a "Sports Bar" that requires you to remove "Sport Hats" (baseball caps)...but Kango hats and other "Dress" hats are okay for (again) a "Sports Bar." They treat the place like a "Night Club" and have a "cover" charge to get in after standing in long lines and having to be body searched. I have been in a lot of Sports Bars with Sports attire on but this is "NOT" one I will be returning to.

If you are looking for a nice place to hang out,have some good food,awesome drinks,meet beautiful people all while enjoying some great music then Sudo bar and grill is the place to go. Grown and sexy with a lil something for the yunggins too. If you are in South DeKalb,Rockdale,Newton or Walton counties,go check this place out. You wont be disappointed.

#1 Clean environment. The waitresses are so nice. Food Ive eaten is delicious with nice portions; although, I have only eaten salad and wings which are so good. Saw other folks orders which look so appetizing as well. Its a nice cozy environment which has karoke, jazz, mixed music and sports nights. They serve lunch and dinner. Highly recommended.

Great DJs. Drinks priced reasonably. Excellent security. However they seem to over book. The place is VERY small and had two birthday parties at once. Seating is limited to begin with but that made it so much worse. I was going to try the food there tonight but changed my mind because there was nowhere for me to sit and eat it.

Its often disappointing trying to support black owned businesses. There should be a law against bad customer service. I rate this place with one star... simply because of one servers patience and pleasant attitude. Sudo...is a no go for me. My friends birthday party was ruined because of what took place tonight.

Very small with only a few chairs and tables so you have to stand the entire time unless you can beat someone at the first spot that comes available. So I wonder how are you supposed to enjoying eating standing up? Good music but poor wine section. Need more choices in wine brands!
