This place has great food. However, this is not the only thing a restaurant/business should be known for. I worked here as a bartender for a few months and I saw the real deal of what goes down. They make employees chip & scoop ice off the side of the freezer because the owner is too lazy to go buy a bag of fresh ice. Disgusting, and unsanitary! The rags we used to clean tables were never washed daily. I recall washing the bar and tables down with the same rag I used for at least an entire week. Once again, disgusting and unsanitary! the ceilings leak, they have yet to fix the problem. They have a high turnover rate in their employees because they are so unprofessional. The owners will tell customers they dont have certain foods available but in reality, they do, they just dont want to prep it. I was often told not to take phone orders for hours because the owners didnt want to prep food. I absolutely hated doing this to the customers and I am very happy that I do not help them give poor service any longer. People that come to spend their money do not deserve that type of treatment. This place is also dangerous. One of the previous employees (female) was punched in the face by a customer (male). If this was a review about the taste quality of the food, Id give it a ten! Like I said, the food is amazing but after I saw how disgusting this place is, its not worth it. I wouldnt dare eat here again or recommended anyone else for that matter.

My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE Ole. We are both from the Caribbean. Im Antiguan and hes Haitian so we know what authentic tastes like. This place has been our go-to place since moving to Atlanta from Miami. They are open late which is PERFECT because I always decide I am not cooking around 9 p.m. lol :-). The service here is great, we are treated like family every time we go here. For my 23rd birthday, the owner personally played birthday songs for me and made me a special alcoholic drink in a fishbowl size glass for FREE. Can you say LOVEEE??? The food is another story. Everything we have had so far has been delicious. Together we have both had legume, griot, tassot turkey, jerk chicken, salad, black rice, rice and beans, black bean sauce, white rice, and oxtails (hopefully I left nothing out). My favorite is the griot but thats my favorite Haitian dish overall so that may be biased lol. However this restaurant lives up to its name. If youre ever bored on a weekend night (heck even a weekday), slide to Ole they always have music and events. SIDENOTE: If you dont like Caribbean music or semi-loud music then get your food to go. But if youre open to the full experience then dine in! Below are pics of a Griot meal and Legume meal with salad. ENJOY! And let me know how you liked it :-)

I am usual customer and I socialize with the owner from time to time. Today I drove 30 minutes to the restaurant and went I got to the restaurant there was an "event" and they wont let me in to even put an order. I saw the owner outside and he said he would come back and take my order. Mind you me and 3 other people are waiting and he never came out to take the order. I am a paying customer and that is VERY DESRESPECTFULL. Not only you have limited hours (night time, mostly during week ends) and when I get there after a long drive I am not getting any service. I AM NEVER COMING BACK TO THAT PLACE.

I go to Ole all the time because the food is great. The customer service is horrendous. The owner is an idiot! You think he would appreciate the regulars who support his business by treating them better and maybe just once giving them something "on the house" however small. One time I ordered rice and had to wait 20 min for sauce. Another time they tried to charge for water. Often they bring food without sauce. The wait is ALWAYS LONG. The only thing keeping them in business is those folks in the kitchen. 5 stars for the cooks and a big zero for service.

Ole has some great Haitian cuisine, however, I dont like the service. In addition , they have a bipolar opening schedule , because sometimes Id go there and they are closed , when they are supposed to be open, without leaving at least a note. This is the closest Haitian resturaunt to my location , but Id rather drive all the way to Marietta for Haitian food than rely ole other to satisfy my hunger for Haitian cuisine in times needed . They are lazy workers, and make customers wait for an EXTREMELY long time. Its ridiculous.

The food is AMAZING!!!! I MEAN AMAZING!! BUT the service is terrible. Food takes too long and waitress always seems annoyed (same girl). I live on the southside (Riverdale) and drive all the way to this location to sometimes find that they are closed!! Even when they say online that they are open. And they NEVER answer the phone . So Im always scared to come because they are inconsistent with their hours of operation. Sigh.. but its hard to find good haitian food. Soo hey !

On point!!! This is the most ultimate, most authentic haitian food Ive ever paid for at any haitian restaraunt Ive ever dined in. Im 100% haitian and Im from Miami, I have got to tell you that Ive tried 3 different food items just to test their skills and they passed everytime. Try it yourself and try the Legume w/ crabs... Its my favorite haitian dish and they make it just like mom.

Im Haitian American & to me the food was ok, the portions where medium, service was great and fast! Im used to the food from Florida where theres huge servings and its super flavorful. There were no vegetarian options which is kind of expected. But overall it has a great vibe!

Ive never been disappointed in the food or service any time Ive come. The owners are so personable they make you feel like youre at a relatives house instead of a restautant. I highly recommend the griot, black rice, oxtails and sweet plaintains.

ZERO STAR for the service. We waited 35 min till we flagged a waitress to give us a menu. 15 min later we didnt see her so we left. Im sure the food is amazing but this kind of service is RIDICULOUS! How are they able to stay open.

Great food. Great service. Great music. Just need to add Haitian Kola Champagne(Couronne) to the menu. They served D&G Kola Champagne which is good too. Give the place a try. You wont regret it.

Food is good but customer service sucks. Waited 40 minutes for someone to tell me they couldnt give me what I asked for and that I would have to wait 40 more minutes for any other order.

The best Haitian food in America. Im just saying. Friendly staff, nice and low-lighting space, great music and drinks. They also have all you can eat crabs for 25 dollars on Thursdays.
