My Husband took me to BabyLand General on a Surprise Getaway! Mom & Dad bought me one of the Originals at The Hallmark Store in Union City, Ga way back when... When we arrived we were greeted very warmly, one of the nurses took My Baby Courtney Nicole...sweetly & wrapped her up (to keep her warm), and waited on us (well mostly me, but I give Kudos to my Husband for playing along!!). I ended up not getting the Collectors Edition Doll, but ONLY because this way I could get the doll (i felt a daughter of mine & Bobs would look like!...In came Molly Wynn (our name, if we wouldve had a girl!!) Then I turned around and saw one that looked like my mom!! Staring at me to bring her home...Thats how Catherine Lucille was adopted!! The nurses there are so nice, kind, cheerful! I would recommend parents take your kids!! I think their were maybe 20 ppl in the Nursey...Mostly, Adults having a blast interacting with each other & the staff! As of now, waiting for them call me and to pick up my baby(looks like me...eyes, hair, etc.) From bath camp!! Sure was a lovely ride...even on a Thursday getting out of town late! Just child-like fun for all! I give them 5 *s. Go, take your girlfriends if your husband wont go, there are lots of things to see all around that part of our beautiful state!

Cabbage patch is a classic doll that over the years has made every race , color be reflected in their dolls. Unfortunately our first visit felt unwelcomed. My little girl has been excited all week to visit Babyland and pick her own doll. Upon her visit she searched for the perfect doll . Brown eyes, curly brown hair and dark brown skin (like hers) no doll on the floor resembled that. The dolls that were darker were tan at most and so sporadically placed. Dolls that were close to her complexation was only available as a specialty doll. We left sad and a little angry that a place that was suppose to bring joy to all children and give them a chance to choose their dolls , took my childs choice away. After almost 2hr drive my daughter picked two little tan dolls and wanted to leave. Please look at your toy floor, regardless of your area , people of all color visit your store to give their child a magical moment. Thank You, Moniqua Lewis

This was super fun! My husband and I stopped in during our honeymoon, mainly since our daughter has been asking for a baby. So we went in and viewed the Cabbage Patch Hospital and it was so exciting we actually went twice. They have a part during your visit where a new baby is born and they have a nurse that shows the process of it and the baby going into the nursery to be examined - all child appropriate. We both agreed to go back for our daughter one day. The entrance is free, you just have to buy your doll and any accessories if you wanted any. If you do "adopt" a baby your child will take the Cabbage Patch pledge, get their photo taken and receive adoption papers. Very cute!

They moved locations around 2010, so if you came here before then, its not what you remember. Rather than compare it to what it was, and will never be again, Ill just say that its still got the magic it had in the past, but it just seems a bit more like a retail super store. The grounds are nice and theres plenty of room and parking. The "hospital" has a very open floor plan with the big tree where the cabbage patch babies are "born(?)". They put on a nice show and everyone wears scrubs. Overall a good experience and worth the drive from Metro Atlanta.

We stumbled across this place by accident & it literally made me feel 4 years old again. Its such a magical place, seeing all the different kinds of cabbage patch dolls and the little nurseries are so cool. The employees are dressed in scrubs and they are just so sweet! There are accessories you can purchase for your doll! Once you purchase a doll you can go in the Adoption Office where you name and give your doll a birthdate. They have recite an oath and you get a birth certificate! What an experience!!

This is the hospital for "Cabbage Patch Kids". The "children/kids" that are available for adoption are now known as "Little People". This is a great location to go for children and adults. If you have a Cabbage Patch kid make sure to bring them with you so the nurses can give them a checkup. They share some history of the Cabbage Patch Kids. Sometimes Xavier Roberts, the originator of Cabbage Patch Kids, will come in at night and zign some of the merchandise for sell. So look around and have fun.

This place is a hoot. I grew up during the original 80s Cabbage Patch Craze. I stood in line with ticket to receive my doll and loved her until she bit the dust. Her name was Gretchen. This place takes loving a doll to a crazy level. Watching the "birth" of a "baby" was bizarre and I found it strange that you could buy Target and Carters clothes there for your doll. But they have a great selection of decently to exorbitantly priced dolls. Overall, my mom and I had a great time.

We went here because of my sister. She celebrated her birthday that weekend and I am so glad we went. The property is gorgeous!!! We didnt have any children with us, but I recommend visiting this property with or without children. The mountains in the background makes the property breathtaking. The "nurses" were very friendly and I found a baby for my granddaughter while I was there. I hope to visit again in another two years with her.

This was such a fun and nostalgic trip down memory lane. I would have loved to have witnessed my very own Cabbage Patch Kid being born and have the opportunity to adopt them right from the Official Babyland General Hospital. This is worth the drive for any little girl wanting her very own Cabbage Patch Kid to love and care for. It was a little hard to find, however my Google Maps confidently navigated me to the right place.

It was okay....nothing like when I went as a child. The selection of dolls are very little. If your looking for dolls of color. .......good luck. I went during Feb and was told they were out of stock...0_o...... Holidays had passed and, hell. ...it was Black History month ;-p Either way, my 5yr twins did not leave with a doll and I will buy my Melissa & Doug online. °•○●Waste of a 2hr Drive. ●○•°

My wife and I HIGHLY recommend bringing your kids and/or grandkids here. Its away from most major cities but well worth the drive and even if you arent impressed as we were, the scenery on the drive here was worth the drive. You cant go wrong on this visit. The staff is friendly and the prices on the toys are reasonable, not to mention the excitement the kids experience. Well worth the trip.

This is such a fun way to spend a couple of hours - love the "births" of the babies and all of the story telling that goes with it. We arranged a special adoption for my adult daughter as a birthday surprise and though it can be a bit pricey, you are taking home a hand sewn soft sculpture CP Kid. For those that dont want that there are plenty of the molded plastic kids to adopt.
