To concerned readers and customers: Last year my family experienced a terrible tradegy in our family and we were recommended to Crestwood Cemeteries for their services. My wife and I agreed on a sheppards hook for our daughter with a granite base. We were promised after it was paid off it would be placed in the ground in April 2009. The hook was paid off in February 2009 so we were assured that this would not be a problem. I called the office in March 2009 and was told that it would be placed in the ground shortly. We then called in April 2009 on four seperate occassions and was told that it would be placed in the ground before Memorial Day. It is now May 26th, 2009 and we were told that not only is it not in the ground but the order was not even placed until the end of April 2009. The lady in charge, ( I will leave her name out), was very rude to my wife when they met today. She called my wife a liar saying that we never called to check on the order. I can assure you that we called because this is our daughter. We would not forget our daughter. Shame on you maam for forgetting our daughter and calling us liars that is just unprofessional and disrespectful. I hope that someday this buisness will realized the uncomfort they have caused our family. To all readers, please if possible find another facility that can comfort your needs. This company is disrespectful, rude, unorganized, and they force you to use their own products which costs way more money than it should. Sincerely, A very demoralized family

This place is a DISGRACE period!..when we burred my mom in 2005, they actually had the cement vault setting on top of the ground with a big pile of dirt right next to her plot..not even covered up etc..and..when the service was done a backhoe..came rolling in before we even pulled out of the place (some people were not even in their cars yet) anyway, it hooked a couple chains up and started lifting, then lowering the vault into the ground..till this day, I have no idea how I managed to not come unglued!..and speaking of the Shepard hooks, we had to purchase their new version at $400 only to end up calling week after week to try and get it placed..they told us the same thing as another review..they claimed they never got an order for one (yet got the check AND cashed it) then they said they lost the work order, then it was something else..we went round and round over it, finally about 2 months later it was put in place..that said, I just got back from my parents grave site, and get this..setting right next to the road, their is a vault..so close that it could EASILY get hit by a car driving through the place..not just one, but two!..the place closed about an hour ago, so I guess their just gonna leave them there until tomorrow?..this place lacks any respect for living or dead...sad......

It has been almost a year and I can just now express my frustration with Crestwood Cemetery. First, the "hook and digger" followed my family members casket with the hearse from the small chapel to his graveside with EVERYONE looking on. It was appalling at the very least. Second, when purchasing the grave stone I can best describe that experience as a negotiation process. My I say, it had already been paid for in advance, so why the hassle and change? And the last and final straw, the surviving family member has been billed numerous times for the purchase of the gravestone. Because they have an advocate, we are becoming very aggressive to call off the wolves who continue to milk money off the all too willing. Crestwood...you should be ashamed of your lack of professional follow through with the surviving elderly. Do what you say you will do!!! So to ditto the other comments.....

PLEASE do not go here if you honor your loved ones. My father-in-law was buried here in April 2014 and there is still no marker and or grass on his grave site. The marker, which was over $4K was supposed to be done within six weeks and its now been 4 months. In a four months period of time they have not went out and put one hand of grass seed on the grave site. Its now end of August it still looks like he was buried a day ago, other than the weeds that have grown up on the unseeded grave site. Multiple calls and no return calls are all we get. DO NOT GO HERE, we are now to the point of seeking legal action.

Tyrone Memorial Gardens in Fenton, MI not-so-recently came under the ownership of Crestwood. Its been over a year and the phone number has not been changed for Tyrone Memorial Gardens. There is no contact information available for it. On Fathers Day of 2014, the columbarium that my father is interred in was locked! I had to leave his flowers outside the door. What cemetery would be locked on Fathers Day???? After I found out that Crestwood owned Tyrone Memorial, I contacted Crestwood and begged them to at least update their website so others may know who to contact. It still has not been done.

We buried my grandson last April. I could barely get through the muddy roads to visit his gravesite today, the roads are dirt and not kept up during the years weather conditions. There is no water available at any of the water spigots located along the roads. The maintenance workers regularly damage and/or remove items left at the gravesite leaving broken flower pots, angels, crosses, etc. His headstone was paid for last July, 2015 and there is no accountability or traceability, we keep asking when it will be delivered and get empty reassurances, "soon, should be soon" Very disappointed.

Recently my father passed away and we were very happy with the services we received. They made sure everything looked nice for the burial. They put grass carpet and 4 covered chairs near the grave site fort the family could sit on. That was wonderful! It made it very nice when we had the brief grave side service. We found everyone very helpful and kind. We now will wait for them to put the marker back on the grave. Thank you Crestwood!

Me and my family went to visit my great grand parents who are supposed to be buried here at Crestwood. To our surprise, we couldnt find their graves, the headstones seemed to have vanished! Now we have no idea exactly were they are buried, if they are even still in there! I am offended in so many ways. What a complete lack of respect to my grand parents. I will do more investigating and make them pay for their negligence

Im so disappointed with this place. We ordered my moms marker in May and they still have not gotten it in. Now they are saying it wont be in until October, Ill believe it when I see it. They have the money for it but no stone.when we ordered it they never said it would take this long, and every time we call there is a different excuse.

My mother-in-law passed away in October 2008. She was buried beside her husband, whod been interred there since 1981. Everything was paid for. It is now summer, 2010. After several requests to the office at Crestwood, her date of death has still not been added to the grave marker. Just how long is this process supposed to take?
