While I already know that this review will mean absolutely nothing to those who run this night club, I am so furious about my experience here that I cannot go to sleep without voicing my opinion about this nightmare of a place. As much as Id like to boast about this place, given that it is one of the only options latinos have to choose from on a Saturday night in Tampa, I simply can not. This matter has become so serious to me that I created a google account just to write a review for here. Might I add that its 2:40 in the morning and Ive made this review my top priority of the night? If I could give this place negative stars, I would do so without even thinking twice about it. Ive never written a review in my life, and it is sad that this is the place Im writing one for. Tonight, I gave club Prana its third chance, and they failed me once again. I used to enjoy club Prana as a minor, when getting too drunk to remember anything beyond the front doors of the club was the thing to do, but as a grown woman, looking for a good night out with FAMILY, Prana has officially become the absolute worst place to AVOID. About a month and a half ago, I went out with visiting family... I got my phone stolen, had confrontation with TWO females for the most absurd reasons (this says a lot about the crowd that Prana attracts) and although the music was what we were looking for, it was un-enjoyable due to all the obstacles need to cross throughout the night. Tonight topped all of my horrid experiences here because we were kicked out a little over 45 min. after we got in. The reason we were kicked out of the club was because my husband didnt pull his pants up for the security guard in a timely manner. Meanwhile there are females crawling around this place with shirts (if thats what you call fish nets now-a-days) that are completely see through and NO BRA! Yeah, real classy! We paid too much money (we were VIP guest, although no one watching us get kicked out for this reason would of guessed that) to get into this place. Way to treat your Very Important People. We had family in town, it was their last night, and it really hurt me to hear them say that they never want to come back to Tampa because of the experience Prana had to offer. We tried warning them about this place but the five floors of different music really sold them, so we decided to suck it up and give Prana another chance but it quickly became a regretted decision. Club Prana has forever lost my business and everyone I knows business because I will make sure that my voice is heard. P.S. You all should really pick and choose your battles. Kicking someone who paid for a VIP section and is old enough to BUY drinks should not be on the top of the list of people to kick out.

CAUTION WARNING CAUTION WARNING I HAD A WAITRESS ATTEMPT TO STEAL FROM ME AND COVER IT UP!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, THE ONLY WAY ILL EVER GO BACK IS IF I KNOW FOR SURE SHE HAS BEEN FIRED. Went last night for my friends Birthday. Got a private table on the 3rd Floor. The shot waitress asked if I needed anything so I say yes Id like a bottle of Moet Rose. She said that will be $200. I paid her but while doing so she happened to notice the massive wad of hundreds I unwittingly retrieved from my pocket, so she then immediately said, "oh wait, that will be $250". Having never had a waitress steal from me before, seeing as how I am an awesome tipper, I figured maybe the price went up since it was later in the night. So I hand her another hundred, get my bottle from another waitress, and am sitting there waiting for the one I paid to come back with my change, and was ready to give her a $20 tip. After about 30 minutes I seen our original waitress, which was a really excellent server, and asked her where is my change, I gave that girl $300 because she said this 2nd bottle of champagne I just got was $250. She looked at me and said, "No way, these bottles are $200" Next thing I know the one who tried to steal my money is back at the table apologizing and at the same time tying to pretend like she didnt remember getting the 3rd hundred dollar bill. She then says, "Im just going to pay for this out of my pocket because I dont want to make a big deal out of this and get fired, do you mind if I give you all ones?" I said, "hell yeah I mind, I gave you three crisp one hundred dollar bills, you tried to charge me extra and steal the third hundred." The manager then came to our table and I explained the situation. The girl Gave me a hundred dollars and the manager pulled her in the back and I dont know what happened from there. THE POINT IS: This POS grimey BI#$% tried to steal from me when we were already spending more than everyone else and then tried to pretend like it didnt happen. I was outraged! she didnt get any tip of course and she "should" be fired. To make matters worse about an hour after the incident she walks by and says, "everything good now,?" in a real sassy tone. I just sat there and looked at her, like you dumb A$$ POS.

So it was my friends 21st birthday and we decided to spend our time at Prana. It has been about 4 months since I have went there, boy have this place changed. When we stepped in line, we were told that we could skip due her birthday, which was really nice. Got VIP and everything. The music was good that night and but I realized that the club wasnt packed as usual. Well I probably found the reason why. The security. My friends and I left and went across the street. We returned 15 minutes later at the front door. When we got there, the security guard had to check my purse. Understandable. I had a small clutch. The guard started throwing my personal belongings around and started violently shaking my purse. He was so aggressive to a point where I said, " woah you need to chill." Then as Im walking away, this flithy security guard yanked my arm and threw me back. He had the audacity to raise his voice at me saying that I needed to leave for no apparent reason. I was attacked by 2 other low graded " bodyguards," and then they again tried to put their hands on me!!! For no reason. Out of fear, I started screaming. I did not like how they were rude, disrespectful, and they were grabbing me like I was a man and acted like I committed a crime. I demanded to speak to a manager after how I was treated and they told me there wasnt a manager. Which is not true. Everyone has a boss. Im fully aware and have a college degree to understand that. I demanded my money back and they said that they couldnt do anything about it. This is by far the worst experience ever. Bodyguards are there to protect us, not to feed off of the small power they have in a small club in Tampa. Ive been a frequent customer of this place and I have never been so embarrassed in my entire life. I will never be going back to this club due to the poor customer service and how I was manhandled by the rudest bodyguards ever. Lost a loyal customer and many others as well.
