Came really wanting to like this place as it does food to go along with their craft beer. Was very disappointed. Thought that a small focused menu would help keep things on point but the food was just not good. First of all they are pricing their items at the same cost of some of the best restaurants in town so that is the expectation you give. Came here with my son who is two and enjoys eating good food and my wife. Got the hummus to start. Liked the presentation but hummus was just ok and a little bland. Kid loved it and had about half when all was said and done lol. Unfortunately we also spent $7.50 on a KIDS plate of chicken fingers. They came out dry, overcooked, hard, and bland. Chicken thin, over breaded, and with barely any seasoning. Seems lazy to offer standard pizza, chicken fingers, burger on kids menu anyways especially at these prices. Fries were shoestring and were actually ok. Wife had Italian beef sandwich I got oven roasted pork sandwich. Looked good when we got them, but first bite left us both disappointed. Starting with the bread. I do not know where this is made but it was way too porous and did not hold shape. Tasted like the kind of bread fast food companys put on their dollar menu items to cut costs. Was a crumbly flavorless mess. Not sure how the pork was described on the menu but I was expecting sliced juicy meat, instead I got something resembling minced cat food with no flavor. There were collard greens in the sandwich which sounds nice, but rather ill conceived, especially when the collards have no flavor either. Next thing is the bacon. Was excited to try thick cut house smoked bacon but instead had a thin crispy piece of meat that looked like (thin) bacon but tasted like absolutely nothing. Not sure how you take the bacon flavor out of the bacon but they managed to do it. No condiments to speak of that helped bring flavor to the sandwich. Just ended up with a soft mushy flavorless mound on my plate. My wifes beef sandwich wasnt much better. Same issues. Terrible bread left single consistency throughout and was woefully under seasoned with again no condiment to compliment. Meat was ok if eaten by itself, but again poor execution. Had the feeling of jack of all trades, master of none. Dont try to do something in house if you cant do it well. Need to focus on textures and seasoning especially on a sandwich. On a good note, beer was pretty good. Location is excellent. Wish I could eat at picnic tables in the beer garden, but only able to eat outside on small patio. If I come back it will be exclusively for drinks. Left spending 50 dollars and wishing I had it back.

First, the good things......the wait staff was wonderful! The unique selection of beers raised interest but we werent there for a drink. The chairs are incredibly uncomfortable and the menu is limited. Although I loved the idea of spicy asian wings, others in my party didnt want asian or spicy. You would broaden your appeal by just adding one other wing option. Most apps were fried - onion rings, fries, cheese curds. We did get the hummus platter. The hummus and tzatziki were very good. The only thing that added a bold flavor was the pepper. Biggest problems, besides comfort and limited menu, was the kitchen. Our food took forever while others came, ate and left around us. The flavors were not bad, but VERY bland. The fried pickles need more brine and for a little longer. It was like eating a batter fried, mild, cucumber slice. Your cooks need some training and work. A piece of paper was placed under my sandwich and side which got so soggy from both grease and sauce. When I opted to complete my sandwich by cutting into the meat (I had enough fried and bread), I got pieces of paper in my food. I was excited to have a local fun spot and hope this unique and trendy location tweeks some of their issues.

Sunday evening for my second visit. Once again the beer was on point. I went with a brown IPA. Smooth and hoppy and nice deep color. I could get used to drinking those. You cant find this type of IPA very often. That was the good part of this visit. Upon entering. It was "seat yourself. As I did it was not very busy. A few employees saw me come in and take my table. Yet no one came over for quite some time. My wife and I were growing impatient. One server came with a menu not very friendly. The girl who ended up being our waitress was nice and did a good job though. My first visit while sitting at the bar I was ignored for about 10 minutes and then couldnt get noticed for a second beer so I checked out after one round. We both had burgers. My favorite food. Craft beer and burgers are my hobby. Unfortunately, we were both disappointed. The burgers were pretty dry and the flavors just didnt mesh too well. The building is pretty cool and the outside deck is sweet. I also wanted to buy a t shirt. None of the shirts on display had a size large. So I got a different one that wasnt actually on display. Overall. Beer is great. Beer menu is fantastic (as well as meads and other cool options) but the service not as great.

I really would have liked to have said I loved the place. An unpleasant hostess seemed to have forgotten to set off our pager, after 30 minutes waiting outside we inquired how much longer the wait would be for first available spot. "Oh I was just about to page you" as we viewed 6 open cleared tables on the floor and others that sat uncleared. Waited 5 minutes for a waitress in some of the most uncomfortable metal chairs ever sat in. Ordered an ale and fried pickles which came out pretty fast. We did not see our waitress for about 25 minutes to take our dinner order. While the bar was busy the inside table section was pretty dead. We ordered some burgers from a very limited menu selection. Upon asking, we were informed the limited menu is the only menu, but they do have some daily specials. The brisket burger (14.00 version) came with fries but was meh. Our waitress never came back to see how the meal was or to see if we wanted additional drinks. After not seeing her anywhere for about 10 minutes we flagged down a waiter to find our waitress. In a few minutes she showed up. The only reason I see myself returning is to grab myself a few drinks of unusual ales and an appetizer(but only at a seat at the bar)

Ive been in here about 3 times. I havent tried any of the food, but I will say the atmosphere and service has been great so far. Ive been given multiple tours, and every employee Ive encountered has been friendly. Great spot for happy hour after work as well as a decent place to bring your family. Updated Review 4/10/2017: I really like the atmosphere, but after frequenting this neighborhood restaurant more than a dozen times, I can only recommend going there for a few drinks. The atmosphere is great, but the food and subsequent service are severely lacking. A for effort, but this is business, and while they are getting their alcohol right on point, their food isnt very good by any standard. I will continue to go here because the people are friendly at the bar and its a fun place, but dont come here expecting a great meal with punctual service. 5 stars for the brews and bar experience, but 2 stars for the rest at best.
