We took our kids to see the sold out Dodie show. Keep in mind, we were only there because our kids are too young to attend a concert by themselves. We stood in the back of the room (no seating) , which was partially blocked by a pole and speakers. It was hot! One poor girl passed out because there was no circulation of air. It was really uncomfortable by the end of the show. They did offer beer and wine, and the staff was nice. Overall, I wouldnt go back, but its a cheap venue, and I can understand why its popular with the younger crowd.

From a musicians stand point... its the dive youve always wanted to play at. Its built for live music... PERIOD. I imagine the rug need a good shampooing... the its sorta grangy, but it has a great feel and I hope they never lose that. I have played there several times and have always had a blast. Great sound system, roomy stage and reasonable prices on the beer. I think the cover charge varies... depending on the band.. but I could be wrong about that.

Very rude doorman, before we even knew this was a bar that had shows the man got an attitude with us for walking in and not knowing! And then I assumed that he needed to see our ids and in a snarky rude voice he goes ids and money! So instead it was a walk away and you dont get any of our money!

Saw Here Comes The Hero perform - the placed was energized with their lively rock tunes, excellent instrument skills, and clever lyrics. Great band! They need to perform more often in Jax!

Door man lied to me and told me the artist was playing their last song when I arrived to the show so I left bummed out.. Only to here from my friend inside they played for another hour.

Went to see a live show here on Saturday night. The place is small but it wasnt overly crowded. A good crowd, no one got really rowdy. A great place for a live show. I enjoyed it.

Good place to see live music! Nice area of San Marco. Theres Aardwolf brewery across the street! Just wish the place was bigger & had more room for bigger bands to play.

Jack rabbits is my favorite venue in jax to play, the sound is always excellent and te overall vibe of the place is awesome. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
