Nice small museum. As far as exposition its quite dire, but since the places is at reconstruction and attendance is free you wouldnt loose too much. But if you want something more interesting Lionel museum in more interesting. But the jewel of this place is train ride - its fun for the whole family. So if youre near by it definitely worth visiting. But not as specific destination. Except if you plan to use the park grounds as well.

Regarding ride on train: I may change my rating later, but I think its ridiculous that a place cant keep accurate hours on their website. Call ahead of time and dont trust the website, or you may have a disappointed child like us. The park is nice, but not worth the 1 hour drive for us.

If you are interested in learning about history and rail roads this is the place to be. There is also a train set there that you can ride through a section of the park. A lot of interesting items on show here. The museum is inside lakes park, so it is a stop in an all-day visit to the park.

Lots of fun for the kids. The train ride is awesome and the museum has a nice display.

Small museum with lots of cool stuff. There is a 1/2 mile mini train ride that was fun.
