To be honest, a bit overrated and had a bit of an "air" to it we didnt care for. The condition was far from what was described on line (it must have been some time ago) The Tee boxes are honestly atrocious and its actually hard to get a footing as it essentially sand and dirt. Divots never repaired and they looked very shabby. Had a definite impact on the overall appearance from the first tee. many many bunkers, decent shape, Fairways OK at best and the greens while good were also not as good as described. The facilities are nice but very noisy due to the high ceiling so it reverberates all the sound back which makes it hard to hear. That being said, we also had an interaction with the starter that we recalled as being a bit unusual. He proceeded to tell he he had just booted someone off the course for slow play and said they were rude" to him. I cant speak to that but he said they believe in golf etiquette, pace of play and people abiding by the rules... That being said, once we got to the first tee, the first thing we saw in front of us (also on the tee) was 3 golf carts and 5 players. That pretty much summed up the pace of play for the day. While the group itself was OK, the overall amount of people pushed out there was too much and no-one could move.. It took us 5 hours and 10 minutes (finished while dark). Absolutely ridiculous pace of play. We had asked about a ranger before we ever teed off and the starter told us, "Sometimes, if hes not busy" lol seriously? In the end, its a good layout, but people have really no idea what tee box to use. The course offers 6 tee boxes but unfortunately players believe it was their inalienable right to play from the back tees. How about being realistic instead about the skill levels?, we are and try to remember there are others out there also... I would recommend that the course educate players before going out while sitting at the starter hut... Sorry all you guys out there, but many times guys in groups especially tend to turn on the the typical macho BS which doesnt help either (other than to provide some laughs from the groups behind watching the 15- 20 HC trying to to carry 250 water in the air with a slight fade, lol... ) Come on guys, you know who you are...:) GPS: The GPS did not provide any actual yardages (unless we didnt see them), It just shows a picture of the hole, your cart position and huge WARNINGS and warning beeps on the screen every time the cart went 2 feet out of position. It actually disables the cart from moving forward and forces you to reverse. LOL Instead: Please invest some money into the overall conditioning of the course, and maybe a couple of "actual" rangers who can be seen on the course to enhance the player experience, not treat people like they will be shot from a drone if the cart moves too far. Possibly mis-guided management, but the reality it was too pricey for the conditions and they do seem to be focused on profit (while it is a business and we understand that) but taken a bit too far with the obvious overbooking, clearly focused on money first...... Not sure its worth the trip to Deland if the current mindset is to maximize profit while minimizing player enjoyment. PS: The range has no grass either due to huge divot holes all over the place that arr not repaired.. This is an un-biased review from first time (and likely last un less conditions change) visiting players...

Rushed home to write this review, now trying not to just sound angry, because people then dont listen. Walked off the course today, never do that, ever. Never write reviews. The course was Ok, nice layout, fairways a bit thin, greens nice. That said, I went through Golfnow, the twosome I was assigned to refused to play with a third, ended up stuck as single. Played a couple of balls here and there because I was stuck then behind this slow twosome who wouldnt play with a third; group caught up with me on #14, 3 players, offered to join them so as not to hold them up, they said were members playing in a tournament so they had to discuss it ... really? Then they complained because I hit a couple of balls while waiting for the group ahead of me to clear greens before they (threesome) caught up with me.. seriously? Never saw a ranger, no cart service, and when I went to tell the pro how disappointed I was, he looked at me like I was from Mars and said .. well, what can I do? Do not play here if you expect civility and normal golf manners, way too many choices, and they really believe they are a better course than they are. Conditions are important to be sure .. and layout, but service is also necessary and they dropped the ball incredibly .. a whole sleeve of balls in fact.

My experience at Victoria Hills was excellent from the moment I booked my tee time. The employees were very helpful, knowledgeable, and were able to accommodate my requests. The course was in pristine condition, the greens were in beautiful shape, and the Oaks and Augusta Pines outlining the course were stunning. After play I enjoyed a delicious burger from Mulligans Tavern. Mulligans has a family friendly atmosphere with excellent service! Over all I enjoyed my experience at Victoria Hills and will defiantly be back again!

Made a trip from St. Augustine during The Players Weekend to play a legit course. Made a phone call early in the week explaining we would be in the area looking for a course in good shape and fun layout. They told us it was in great shape. Layout was good, but absolutely the worse conditions for what they advertise. No water in ponds (probably a good thing for the shots we hit). Fairways maybe 20 percent grass. Sorry I made the trip. Hope they get things straightened out.

I played Victory Hills this past week and was very disappointed that 90% of their greens have been lost. Having traveled from Chicago to play 4 courses, I felt the course should have at least mentioned some damaged greens when I was scheduling with them. The other three, less highly rated courses had no green damage at all. Very disappointing experience for all of us. Ed W. 4/19/10

unfortunate for us to play just after overseeing and greens were like velcro. Course could have used some watering. Still had to pay going rate.We played two other Orlando courses (mid December, 2015) and this one ranked a distant third.

This is an amazing course played there this past weekend. They recently irrigated the greens but the course was still in great condition, even the greens werent bad. One of my favorite courses to play on. Such a beautiful layout.

Been there many times. They have a great chief with a changing menu. Never been disappointed and for a country club the prices are very reasonable. Dinner or lunch you wont be disappointed!
