Mini golf is good for any age, and Congo River is no exception. Probably the best part about is that when youre walking around it feels like your in the jungle. Youre provided with a scavenger hunt and if you find everything at the end they give you coupons for next time. I also like always seeing the alligators. You can feed them but I prefer to just feed the fish and turtles because its less expensive and just as fun. Congo River is the type of place that you could go to more than once but because its entirely outdoors, it can be pretty sweltering most of the year (even though its mostly shaded).

The atmosphere and course were very good and clean. My reason for the three stars is because I did feel it was overpriced. $12 for each (we had 4) so just over $50 bucks for just 18 holes and a view of alligators is more than I like to spend. We didnt get into the scavenger hunt because they werent obvious enough and we were more concerned about moving along so not to hold up people behind us. Not like I was going to go buy more games just to save $1 anyway.

My kids love this place!! We have been coming to the Clearwater area three times a year for seven years and our kids INSIST on going to Congo River everyday that we are here. We usually end up going at least 4-5 times in a week. The holes are unique and are setup in a jungle setting. The scavenger hunt is fun for the kids and afterwards they can play in the small arcade or feed the alligators. If the temperature is too cold the gators wont eat.

Probably one of the best looking mini golf places in the area. Place is clean and staff is friendly. The holes lack any change for an all star pro putt putt golfer like myself. I guess the easy hole in ones keep it fun for most people and kids. Arcade is seriously lacking and no windmill! What self respecting roadside mini golf place doesnt have a windmill? Overall I would play here again when Im back from the pro mini golf championship in Scotland.

Good place for mini golf but you can feed the gators, pan for gem rocks, and do a scavenger hunt throughout the course. I did not do the gator feeding or pan for gem rocks based on time limitations and lack of interest. The golf course was well maintained and laid out nice. Kids age 6 and 7 thought it was awesome. I would return if we were in the area.

Fun place. Love the scavenger hunt. Attendents didnt seem like they wanted to be there or were just stoned. I couldnt tell, but I wasnt there for them the mini golf was a good price and fun little 18 hole course. You have the option to hold/feed little gators as well which can be great for the kids.

Nice course, but over priced. $30+ for one adult, one child, and gator food (who were barely hungry. Only two of the 19 even made a move toward the food). Couldve played at a regular course where they let kids play free... For less than this... Guess where were going next time?!

This was the most beautiful miniture golf course in which weve ever played! The grounds were well maintained and the price was outstanding. As an added bonus, some holes offered ways to increase your challenge :-) We cant wait to visit again with friends.

I have been to some very cool miniature golf places but this one was definitely on the top. This place really stood out to me because of how it had a scavenger hunt as well as playing mini golf. Definitely had an amazing time.

Definitely the best experience I have ever had playing putt putt. Friendly staff, amazing course and pet gators that you can feed for a small fee. I would recommend this course to anyone who is looking to have a fun time.

This was one of the best mini golf courses Ive played on yet. They had live baby alligators, great set up, arcade room, and very clean bathrooms!! Which is a super plus in my book! I rate this place with an A+ for sure.

The course was fun challenging and well maintained. Easy access with plenty of parking. The round of golf was topped off with the opportunity to play games in the arcade or hold a small alligator!

This place is awesome! The scavenger hunt was pretty hard, never got all the items (possibly due to being there at night maybe?). The "Wheel of Death" on some holes was a nice touch too.

Lots of fun for any age. Feeding the gators is fun. Gets busy sometimes, we were waiting allot between holes, but still a good time. The treasure hunt is fun too while you play.

Excellent staff, good course, reasonable prices! I really enjoy the fact that their hours are pretty flexible and open late on weekends, makes it easy to plan a night out!

We took our 4 year old here and had a great time. The property was well maintained and they offered additional activities as well. We fed the gators and my son loved it.

There is a scavenger hunt built into the mini golf which was new to me. I also really enjoyed the difficulty of the holes. There were some tough ones but it made it fun.

Weve been several times and have a fantastic time each visit. The course is decorated very well and is a blast to play. Theyre also open late, which is an added bonus.
