The park was created in 2013. Before then, the local historical society preserved and gave tours of local buildings that have historical significance. They still run the tours and visitor center. I dont think that I spotted a ranger. The sites and tours are less polished than those given at other national historic sites, but that is also their beauty. The guides are extremely knowledgeable, and provide insights into Delawares history.

Great walking and biking path by the Brandywine creek. This and the state park directly to the south make for a nice walk from the Pennsylvania border to Adams dam road along the creek.

Its free unlike the neighboring state parks, great for kayaking, floating down the river, horse riding (no horse trailer parking though), mountain biking, and picnicking!

Awesome area for walking, riding, and picnicking. Limited parking - if you get there later in the day, you might not find a spot.
