A hidden gem, the park has wild animals to view such as wolves, a bobcat, lots of owls, a bald eagle, reptiles, fish and much more. Very good informative signage adds to your experience. You can fish there and launch non motorized watercraft.

Wow this place is awesome! What a gem! Quiet open county park with grills, river access, parking, picnic benches, restrooms, and a mini zoo! There are wolves, donkeys, owls eagles and elk! So much to discover!

My son loves coming here for a quick walk around to see the boaters on the river and the animals. The staff seem to be consistently improving the habitats for the animals as well which is nice to see.

Donation based wildlife center with many native animals. Its a great option for a young toddler to run around as well as calmly observe the various fishes, reptiles, birds, and other wild animals.

Cute little park, with a small zoo, picnicking, two small barn museums, river access and walking/biking trails. Great for kids of all ages to spend a few hours . Recommended!

Nice place to take the kids. They have a decent variety of animals to see. Or you can go down to the river and and relax by the water. They have picnic benches down there as well.

My kids love it here. Its muddy and smelly and chock full of animals. I like that its close to the river an we can walk over and skip stones. Its a nice hour or two for kids.

It is basically a free zoo with reptiles, birds of prey, wolves, foxes and an amazing male turkey. Cant beat it for the price. My 2 year old son had a blast.
