Theres always a circumstance and theres a situation. Now Ive owned dogs for many years now, I understand city regulations and rules about having a dog off leash. But I forgot I live in himmlers favorite city in u.s.a- Denver. Where common sense does not exist, at least not for people employed by the great city. The only thing the great city wants is more money. 200 dollar ticket for my two well behaved dogs, when no one is around but this fine city inforcer. I live in apartment for a long time now and have always had content dogs because they look forward to something, running. So farewell garland park, and to one certain j. Glover great city inforcer- good job my friend. All the homeless people that use that place as a bathroom, and you ticket the hard working moron who just wants his dogs to have a fun day.

Im super impressed with this awesome local park! The poured-in rubber surfaces are one of the best parts, making it perfect for smaller kids. I wish the entire playground was covered in this, but a portion where the large slide and climbing frame are is wood chips. Theres also a small sandpit, which is perfect for the creative digger in us all. A portion of the playground is also covered in synthetic turf, making it the perfect spot for littles to crawl without fear of them ending up scratched up or hurt! Overall, really impressed with this park. Negative: Watch out for the goose poop. Its everywhere in the parking lot and on the sidewalks! Luckily, the playground area was mostly free of poop :)

Garland Park, has it all! Great flower display in the spring (S . Monaco Pkwy), proximity to Cherry Creek Trail, bird watching at the lake, generous play area for small children, well maintained tennis courts, a basketball court, sand boxed volleyball court and tons of league play to join.

We could really use a dog park around here but at least this is one of the larger Parks around. Lake, geese, squirrels, lots of room and across the street from cherry creek and Cook park. The bathroom attracts a few junkies at night but otherwise not too shady.

David Garland park spans between Holly and Monaco streets and follows Cherry Creek and Cherry Creek North Drive. Two picnic areas, volleyball courts, childrens playground, baseball fields and a walking/biking path around Lollipop Lake are available.

Tennis courts have been repaired, and are looking great now. It also has lights, so you can play late. Street parking becomes an issue in summer when volleyball leagues are active and the players swarm the park.

One of my favorite parks for a quick 30 minute walk or lunch break. Even for a picnic around the pond is nice here. Wild life freely walks amongst visitors. A nice natural retreat in the city.

A large park, great for running and never many people at park. There is a baseball field, good playground. Only issue is there are so many geese it should be called "lollypoop park"

Lots of shaded areas. Sand volleyball courts. Tennis courts. Areas for kids. Right on Cherry Creek. Dont fly kites there! Massive power lines above the south side of the park

Nice place to take a walk or go for a room with the dog. There are two baseball/softball diamonds if you play ball. They light up at night too.
