Beautiful park, many paths available to cater to your choice of sport. I think Denver got it right with a lot of deliberately "undeveloped-looking" areas lining the creek. Lots of wildlife noted, including the two hawks in the picture. Areas for tennis, basketball, and baseball, as well as playground equipment. Rest rooms, drinking fountains, and shaded picnic tables accommodate the lower-intensity aspects of your outdoor time. Wish I had a park like this at my doorstep back in Illinois.

I live in this neighborhood, and this is a wonderful park. It has both paved and dirt pathways. There are work-out stations, tennis courts, a large picnic area, a baseball playing field, and a childrens play area. It has natural landscaping and a beautiful stream. The park is natural and woodsy. I take my dogs there every day for their daily romp. Its never crowded. You can go on the paths and be completely separate from the public events areas. It is quiet and peaceful.

Great smaller sized park. Leads right into a residential area so its always full of dogs and children alike on a summer day. Includes multiple baseball fields, swingset, small basketball court, tennis courts, workout equipment, and is part of the cherry creek bike trail.

This is a big park it is over 3 mile walk around the perimeter. It has many walkways, paved and dirt. One side goes along the highline canal and is a nature path. Also there are baseball fields. Tennis courts. Workout area. Playground. Never crowded.

The park is large for an urban park and has many things to do. There is outdoor exercise equipment along the trail, a playground, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, and lots of open space. The trail is great for running or walking.

My suggestion is to go when most of the plants are green rather than in the winter. We still enjoyed our visit in February and are happy we went. It just makes us want to go back when most of the outdoor plants are green!

Great park, has tennis courts with lights, baseball diamonds, a playground, and a whole lot more. I really enjoy the bike paths and trails around the park. Is a great place to pick up the highline canal.

Great place for bikes, walking, jogging, dog walks, close to our house, no dog poop anywhere in the park..good exercise area, grass, cement walking path as well as dirt. Picnic areas also

This park is larger than a quick drive-by makes it seem. Tennis courts, work-out stations, baseball diamonds, and good fields are all to be found inside the park.
