My family and I just got into fishing and we decided to check this place out. Its perfect to take the whole family even if some dont like to fish. There is also a big variety of fish. There is a playground, basketball courts, swings, and a field. They are also all next the lake. Its also a great place to go jogging or walking with a dog or by yourself. We also spent 4th of July here and had an outdoor picnic. There are picnic tables and grills in the shade too. Also there are restrooms, kinda dirty but its ok. Overall great place to take the family on a nice day.

Beautiful scenery with a path around the lake. When walking around the lake, there is an area were you can hear all the quails from their nest. The only downside of this spot is trash is present around the lake and algea has started to form inside of the lake. However, a couple people were still fishing out here. There is also a park on the side of the lake.

Lake on the south side of town with a mostly-unpaved trail circling around it. You can see people out fishing, and even more walking and jogging around it. Not easily accessible for those with mobility issues, and there are only a few benches. The west side has a playground and a basketball court.

Great fishing spot for bass and other warm water species in the COS area. Shorelines can be dirty and people tend to leave unwanted fishing line and trash strewn about unfortunately. Park is easily accessible and has a boat launch for kayaks and non motorized craft. Lots of shoreline access.

Great place. Beautiful in the winter with the backdrop of the mountains available. Some local ducks and geese live in the area. Lots of people come here and fish. Nice running path. Saw someone doing some cross country skiing once during the winter because the path has minor hills.

Other than the usual crowds, that should be expected here in Colorado Springs, this is a great place to spend an afternoon. Really scenic. Good location. Nice lake that allows non-motorized water craft. Kids playground. Basketball hoops. Picnic tables, etc.

This lake offers a dirt trail encasing it to walk your dogs or even find a nice spot to fish from. The city stocks this lake regularly and a most everyone in the area are super friendly. Want to go for a stroll? This is a gorgeously quaint place to visit.

Very nice park with a boatable lake. It is a location not easily seen of your driving. I live very close to here and did not know it existed until I searched for parks on the map. It can get a little busy but overall a nice place to walk in the area.

An easy 1ml walk around a pretty little lake with a mountain view. Hubby and I meet for lunch here quite often. 2 parking lots 1 at each end of the park. Picnic tables, boat launch, fishing dock, paddle boarding, small playground, ducks etc ...

Great place to bring the kids to learn how to fish for rainbow trout. It has picnic tables but limited parking. There is a great walking trail and people and their dogs are friendly.

Pretty park. Stopped on our way through the springs to stretch our legs. Playground is not very big but it has restrooms and a nice path around the lake.

This lake is beautiful. You can fish here, hike trials, and hang out on the docks. Ive seen a few people with paddle boats on the water as well.

Pretty but I wouldnt call it a lake. Its more like a large pond. Apparently, people cant seem to clean up after themselves or their dogs.

Nice little lake. Lots of tree cover on the banks. Pretty good fishing. Has a small boatramp, i think it has to be an un-motorised boat.
