Stayed for 2 nights on the third floor kung size bed. The room looked great except for the broken restroom lock. The next day the hotel decided to do room door lock changes on the floor I was at. As a guest trying to enjoy my room stay it was very noisy so I stepped out to grab breakfast hoping the room would be serviced and the locks changed. On my return about 10:30 am, the room was not serviced and the locks not changed. I called front office and they replied that the room will be serviced sometime in the next 2 hours and they wedent in control abiut the locks. The locks men were working on a couple roims over so I decided to ask them, they mentioned they woild be doing the entire floor and would be at my room shortly. Because of the noise I stepped out again unavle to enjoy being in my room. I walked around the city, and got followed by a group of guys who kept hollaring amd what not walking just 3 feet behind me until I reached a main street. Terrified I walked back to my hotel room hoping to shower and rest. The moment I stepped into my room I noticed it was not serviced (now 12 pm) . I walked into the restroom, closed the door and was about to use the facility when suddenly knocking on the door occurred. It was the locks men telling me they were going to be changing my lock. Since the door to the restroom didnt close and there was to be no privacy, I had to leave my room and use the restroom in the downstairs lobby.. At the bar, the bar tender was amazing and relaxed my nerves when a well made mix. By 2 pm I checked the room and it wasnt serviced and the lock changing was still in progress. I went back downstairs unable to stay in my room. By 2:45 the bar tender went and spoke to the manager on my behalf. By 3 pm the room was serviced and the locks were changed. Once I git my new key, I walked into my room to find it filled with saw dust. I called frint desk and asked for service again. 15 minutes no one. Had shown up so I decided to change my clothes when suddenly my room door opens and. I hear voices. It was the cleaning cure and the locks people talking to each other. With the door wide open I ran to a corner and hid while putting my clothes back on. I was so shocked and embarrased I pretended to be on my phone and tried to be cool about it. But I eventually broke down and called management. The manager apologized and said she would like to be bringing up something for me as a consolation. I agreed and waited for her but she never came by. The next day I spoke to the front desk but no apology or consolation gift was given. I felt they should have switched my room if they knew they were going to be doing mechanical servicing to it that would keep mr out of it for several hours a day. I also am very upset that management said they would bring consolation but forgot which made me feel as if I was insignificant and their inability to provide me with a comfortable room stay and a mere "I am sorry" added to the feel. In all, poor planing and management from the hotel. Great bar service, amazing starbucks coffee. Nice downtown but beware of blocks surrounding the downtown.

Rooms have been updated, but feel very cold and uncomfortable. That might be party due to the laminate/plastic "wood" flooring. This hotel desperately needs main system (Central H/AC, water pressure, etc.) maintenence and its a longstanding problem. Ive personally encountered this prior to the remodel and after. As a Platinum member, I brought this up to staff and didnt receive much of an answer/resolution - which is disconcerting. I also wasnt upgraded or offered any bottles of water. These are little things that normally I wouldnt take notice of, but in addition to the main problems Im experiencing on my most recent visit (sweating and freezing, alternatively, every hour - whilst the temp is set at 79° auto). Id say its ranging between 68° and 88°, randomly. Good times.

If you are looking for a safe place to stay, keep looking. Parked our truck and classic car trailer in the parking lot with, (we are told) security and had the truck broken into taking everything of value including our combination radio, navigation, blue tooth, backup camera system. All totaled over $4,000 in property and damage. When asked where the security is, I was told there is one person that walks the building but cant be everywhere. No cameras or video surveillance in or around the property. Its not like this is a motel six but you may be better off staying there. The most expensive car show I have ever attended!!!!!!! Last time I head to the Central Valley where the obviously grow thieves besides produce!!!

Room is designed in a modern fashion and is clean. So if you care about room and staff, then this is the place for you. Other than that, no amenities is provided and you should pay for everything. I got a tea (boiled water with tea bag) for 4$!! A coffee costs 6$!!! Note that many hotels and motels provide hot water and coffee for free. The breakfast is nothing special. You happily get the buffet, to learn that hardly anything is there. If you want an omelet, you should wait in a line to order it and wait for it to be prepared. Practically, if you are 3and each one wants an omelet, you cannot eat and hang out as one of you will be in the line. Overall ok place, but nothing special so 3 stars.

The Hotel was under construction, and was a bit noisy. I couldnt check out in the room, via the television due to the menu button on the remote control did not function. Once I got into the room, I could see why they remodeling. There was no clock, the paint in the room was worn and dirty the bathroom walls were dirty with rust stains above the sink and tub area. The carpet was dirty and stained and the, small, coffee maker was dirty. Both beds were clean and comfortable with the bathroom supplied very well. Desk personnel were professional, polite and very caring. Respectfully, Wally Berri

Hotel was nice. No conceirge lounge. Not told that until I asked. Was given breakfast coupon and appetizer coupon. This wasnt pointed out either. Going down for appetizers first thing I do is give waitress the coupons. She brings over Platinum snacks menu. We order and after she brings the order she says the $10 voucher does not count for alcohol even though it does at every other Marriott Ive been to. I can understand that a city ordinance prohibits but when presented with a coupon and an alcohol order the immediate response should be to inform of the city ordinance.

Ive stayed at a few different Marriott hotels over the last couple years and this particular location was just okay. Not up to par with the others Ive stayed at from a cleanliness and convenience perspective. Multiple, obvious spider webs on the ceiling of the main room, a hole in the shower ceiling, no bathroom fan, no fridge in our room (while our family in the next room over had one), lower quality soap/shampoo/conditioner than most Marriotts provide, etc. Not a bad experience, just not up to par with what Im used to from Marriott hotels.
