Parking is difficult. Once we arrived I witnessed a child step in poop and then proceed to wash it in the splash pad. I stopped him and told him to get his mother and rinse it with soap and water in the bathroom. However this did not happen as his mother was not present. My concern now is the water is contaminated with poop (I dont know if it was a dogs poop or childs but it was fresh) we proceed to the play ground where children ran around unsupervised using horrible language. The park is beautiful however I have a very poor experience and will not be back again

Great Park. Stanton the small city known for great parks did a great job with this park. Geared toward families with younger families, the park has a great pirate ship that kids just gravitate toward. The park is clean and still seems brand new. Parking can be an issue especially on street sweeping day. (Note I might be a bit bias as former mayor Harry Dotson was my friend.) You might also want to check out their newest park Central Park down the street at Western and Cerritos. Same quality as Dotson Park but much bigger.

This a a great hidden park. Two playgrounds: the larger one is a gigantic ship. The smaller one is nice and shaded. There is a short walking path around the park and a tiny work out station. There ARE restrooms located on site. The splash pad makes this place a hidden gem. The only negative thing about this park is that the parking space is very limited. You can only park on Fern Ave between W Cerritos and Chanticleer Rd. Anywhere else is Park by permit.

I love this park! Very limited parking. But once inside there are bathrooms, basketball court, a ship plays cape for older kids and a seperate log one for younger children, a water splash area for kids to play in during summer, picnic tables. And there is also a random house there and I am unsure if someone lives there or not. But its not accessible. Only down side is it is not a huge park and it closes early

Such a great park!! I was kind of skeptical driving down the street because of the area but once we arrived and walked inside it was great!!! Its a nice fenced area with water spouts, great small kids area and large big kids play area!!! They also have picnic tables, grass area, restrooms and a 1/2 basketball court. My son loves it our first time here and well definitely be back!!!

This is a magical park! The pirate theme is excellent and all the kids from 3-9 years old have something to do! The park is gated and there is one way in/out so the little ones dont wander off so easy. The water play area is cool when its in season. Just a really cool park. The only downside is parking in the area is terrible.

The park is fun, my son loved it & wants to go back. They have a splash/water area for the summer. But parking is Awful! There is no parking only permit parking on the street. So you have to get there early in the day to get one of the 3 parking spots for the park.

its small. no matter where in the park your child is you can see her/him. very clean and best of all kids love it. theres half basketball court. u can reserve the tables for a party too by calling the city.
