I highly-recommend this venue!! Viansa Winery was our first & favorite stop on our first Sonoma Valley winery tour ever, and has remained one of our favorites to this day. Their gourmet food court is outstanding (try their brick-oven pizzas on the veranda), the wine is delicious, and the views are breath taking. We joined their Tuscan Food & Wine Club and have never been disappointed. I am originally from the Bay Area, and so when my fiance and I decided to have a destination wedding to a winery we could not stop imagining having our dream wedding take place on the beautiful grounds at Viansa. The entire venue was ours for the event, starting right after closing of the day. Their cozy Tuscan building was the perfect backdrop for the out-door ceremony, and the food (prepared & served by Viansa staff) was exquisite. Their wedding coordinators were very professional, with their great attention to detail I felt extremely comfortable leaving every detail in their hands. Everything was taken care of, which is important when you are planning a wedding from overseas (we are both stationed in Okinawa, Japan). The event was magnificent & completely stress-free! The owner of the location even stopped by to give his congratulations! Thanks Viansa for a Dream Come True!!!

Our latest experience at Viansa left us longing for the days when this winery was owned by the Sebastiani family. There are no more foods to sample or buy. the bar on one side was completely closed with no wines in the racks. It used to be so busy, but this time there was hardly anyone there. The wines we just OK this time. We planned to eat lunch there after doing a tasting and buy 2 glasses of wine and sit outside to enjoy the view. The pours were very small and the hostess seemed like she was in a hurry to get us out of there. They used to be super friendly. We bought some sandwiches and 2 glasses of wine and my glass was $14. I asked her why it was so expensive and she said "welcome to Wine Country" like it was my first time in big-boy pants. We also went to Jacuzzi and Cline that day. The wines were much better and the service was much better. This used to be out first stop when we got to wine country, but not any longer.

Viansa has the flavor of Tuscany with wood-fired pizzas to accompany wonderful Italian varietal wines. There are spectacular hilltop views to take in from a variety of seating areas - from wide open gathering spaces to quiet & intimate spots. Theres a nice market with sandwiches, cheese and such, and lots of inhouse-made marinades, glazes & sauces - many made with Viansa wines and locally grown produce. The market carries a variety of other wine related items - decanters, picnic accessories and Italian crafts including pottery and other beautiful life items.

Not sure what the picture is of - its not Viansa. Anyways, I belong to this wine club and its always our first stop on our way up to wine country. Two tasting bars on either end of an Italian marketplace. Plenty of outdoor seating, an outdoor brick wood-fire oven where they make pizzas and amazing views. Great place to stop with first-timers - never fails to amaze them.

Lets face it, its challenging to get to all the tasting rooms you might wish before closing time. Why stress in traffic when you can chill out on the well-landscaped terrace at Viansa, one of the first places you come to on Route 121. Even the ironwork on the stairs is lovely. I heard the traffic can be a nightmare if theres racing at Ifineon -- worthwhile to check.

This place used to be good until the new ownership took over last yr. It still has great views and all but the winter tasting experience has gone down the drain. They also dont allow to taste or most of the time even have the great aleatico wine which is perfect for the sunny Sonoma weather in summer. I hope they bring back the old ways of treating customers.

We found this winery through VISA signature and they honored the complimentary tastings. It was fairly large and a bit busy, and it did seem like they were herding people through off of tour buses. The 2009 Zin and the 2008 Cab Franc were the best wines and they were worth the drive out here. The staff was friendly if a bit rushed by the crowd.

Gorgeous location...delicious wines...Kelly was an amazing hostess! We really enjoyed the Arneis, Reserve Cab & Aleatico Rose!!! The market has great lunch options! We ordered the Prosciutto & Brie sandwich and the Eggplant sandwich & enjoyed them on the patio w/ a bottle of Arneis and we were in heaven. Definitely stop here!!!

They have wood fire pizza and the smell of smoke was in my hair, my clothes and my wine. It was disgusting. The wine was way below average, especially the reds were really bad. Service was ok. The view and the location - its very easy to get to from 37, were the only redeeming factors but will not visit again.

Muy buen lugar para comprar vino. El ambiente es muy bonito y la atención al cliente es muy buena además de los ricos vinos de Napa.

Does not get better than this. We arrived early on a Saturday and had such a good time. Dan served us to a great selection of wines and the history of the Vinyard. We has a number of bottle shipped home and joined their club. Nice to get wines that are not sold in our area.

I moved to the Bay Area and now I will take all of my visiting guests to this winery. It is a beautiful Tuscan winery with unique Italian-style wines. I joined the wine club and cannot wait to get the wine and food products each month! I would highly recommend it!

Doesnt get much better than this! Sitting in the top of the hill looking out over the valley was amazing. The Rose was spectacular. Love the Rose glasses. On Sunday we enjoyed live music with classic singer/songwriters.

The view at Viansa cant be beat. The wines are great and the tasting fee is reasonable. The food is overpriced but not a deal breaker. Definitely visit this place to have a glass of wine and enjoy the view!

I loved this winery - got married here 10 years ago. Unfortunately the wine selection isnt as great as it used to be. They arent special anymore. Views are spectacular and picnic area is still great.

I love going to Viansa and savor a delicious glass (or more) of Cabernet Franc. Servers are very friendly, specially Adrian and Jose. Views are gorgeous. Wine prices are good . I recommend it.

Great hospitality and even better wine. I ended up buying a case (they have one cent shipping!) and I also joined the club. Will be back to visit soon!
