Rating this from the standpoint of a live music venue; setup is awkward with the stage set in the corner and a large support pole just off center that blocks a lot of viewing area. Stage is also very small. DJ setup is just as awkward as the tables are set off to the side, although the support pole is less of an issue. Has the feel of a nightclub and lacks any sort of charm. When the upper mezzanine is open, it has another bar and some good viewing spots that are generally less crowded. They occasionally get some good acts that come through, but that is obviously subjective. I reserve this spot only for acts that I love as this venue tends to detract slightly from the experience, making an average band not worth seeing in my opinion.

Ive been here a few time to catch some people I wanna see, and its a pretty good venue. Its not in the nicest area, but its easy to get to with Muni or BART. Theres multiple bars, but the one on the upper level seems to be the least crowded, and you can chill on the couches as long as no one booked the table. I never really see a lot of people get table service anyway. Bartenders are efficient, and drinks are strong! I really like that the dance floor doesnt get packed like sardines. Theres a lot of people, but you still have your own personal space to move around and dance. Whoever is headlining, its always a pretty good time. Untz Untz Untz

A venue space that nurtures all different genres of artists and event. There are at least 3 different bars with at least 4 bartenders to lubricate the night. Their most amazing feature is the smoking space in the back that is very well circulated with fresh outside air and ample seating. The bathroom is good enough that the line never gets too long. The space is quite large and can accommodate hundreds of people. There are VIP table service on the mezzanine.

Great venue for corporate parties, concerts, and events. While its generally a smaller and more intimate venue, its a 2-story with an open dance floor so it feels more spacious. It can get pretty hot and sweaty in here if you are here for a concert. The sound system is pretty decent with a moderate amount of bass. If you get the table towards the back of the dance floor, prepare to be entertained by the people tripping on the platform edges.

I was here for a Super Bowl 50 fashion show event put on by the 47 brand of clothing. Really great spot that makes a large crowd feel intimate yet not cramped. Im not sure if the catering company was provided by the venue but if so the food was spectacular. Seems like a very transformative space that could accommodate most event/party types.

If a band or artist you want to see is performing, it is not a bad place for a live show. Its a little bare bones for and EDM show. Lofted warehouse feel, with a couple bars downstairs and a small bar upstairs along with bottle service. Feels a bit old but overall a good experience with a decent sound system and open dance floor.

Its a simple club. Needs better ventilation as it gets very hot and the ceiling has been known to drip. While thats the mark of a good DJ, its not the mark of a well ventilated club. They pull a decent crowd - not too posh, not too scrub. So thats the redeeming factor here. I only come if the talent is there on the night.

Pretty good club. Music was OK. A little to ravey for me but I could get down with the beat. Drinks werent too bad. Most beers were $5-6. I was told it would be free booze from 9-10pm but I think it ended early at 9:30pm which was disappointing. The girl/guy ratio started out bad but got better as the night went on.

The main act was great, of course. But the 3hr wait before? How boring can music get in 2012? In Germany, theres a word for it: Kirmestechno. The visuals looked like a Windows clipart mashup, sigh. Also, "free PBR" - really? This redneck abomination of a beer? In a nightclub? Thanks, but no thanks. Not impressed :(

This small venue makes perfect use of the limited space; giving the audience plenty of dance space without losing the intimacy. The VIP section overlooks the dance floor from above and includes seating. Coat check and snacks near the entrance. Theres a bar with limited seating further back from the main stage.

Was here as part of an event that my work was hosting. Staff was excellent and bartenders were great, handling A LOT of folks with ease. Dance floor fit a lot of people and was promptly wiped when someone spilled a cocktail. Enough space to get a breath between songs as well.

Great place to catch a show! Its tucked away in a back ally and the surronding area is full of sketch people, but the venue is very well kept! Its a decent size spot but can get really hot inside (coat check is a must). I rarely pass up a concert I want to see at this venue.

Good venue space. Good acoustics and sound for a show. Drinks are a bit on the steep side. But the designated smoking area with seats is key. Being a smoker, this place is always at the top of the list. Thanks for making us feel like human beings instead of cattle.

Good venue to come get your party on. It may be kind of hard to find because its down an alley. I like the concrete/underground feel this place has. It has a good sized back patio for smoking or fresh air. I like to come here with my friends and have a good night.

Getting early is KEY! Always awesome performances and the place does get packed! Enjoyed many past concerts and last night enjoyed seeing Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def! Get drinks before heading out to the floor otherwise, you wont be able to make it inside the crowd.

Good concert venue, with expensive drinks and fairly good sightlines. Two large concrete pillars may obstruct views for some. The VIP section is above the bathrooms and a few beer bottles fell from hands and ledges. So think about falling glass.

Not respectful place. We waited more than 3 hour for the concert and left it. Woman on the reception every 30 min told the same "oh they will start in 30 minutes". 3 hours for begging?! Are you serious, guys?!?! Never again. Never recommend

Gets really crowded for shows, and it is hard to see the stage. The crowd here is usually pretty annoying or blacked out. But if you can get a spot where you can see and you can deal with the crowd, it is a cool place to see a show.

Unless you want to get high by passively smoking pot.. dont go to this place. Honestly, I went there in NYE paid $55 to get in and had to leave a hour later because I could not breathe and the manager would not do a thing about it.
