This is a great park to sit and eat lunch and meet up with someone for coffee. I used to work at a company that was inside this park. Everything is preserved to be as close to the 1900s as possible. The shade from the trees is very pleasant and there are no electrical wires to obstruct your view of the trees and buildings. Inside the park there is a Brazilian restaurant that serves really great feijoada.

A beautiful, hidden gathering of restored Victorian houses with neatly manicured yards and a fountain in the middle of the roundabout. A great place to take an afternoon stroll, or just sit and enjoy the weather or a bite to eat. There are a few park benches around the fountain area, or even a little grassy area to sit in the shade.

Best on tap selection in Oakland as far as I know. Rotating selection filling multiple blackboards. Huge bottle section, helpful employees, outdoor seating, dog-friendly. If youre hungry, hop next door for some fries or other munchies-- theyll deliver to Beer Rev if its slow.

I was trying to check out Preservation Park and got chased away by a security guard. Apparently you cant just walk through to check it out. I guess I wont be planning my next event there.

Cute venue, needs better staff. Janitor cleaning up venue was after an event was surprisingly rude. I wouldnt book location on my interaction with him alone.

This is a quiet little park of oakland. These old Victorian host many professional offices. They have a nice little restaurant inside to grab lunch

Cool, albeit small, park tucked away on the edge of Old Oakland. Clean grounds and historic-looking buildings with a fountain at its center.

An interesting assortment of Early Oakland houses. Too bad you cant go inside any of them.

This place is stunning. It is an oasis in the middle of Oakland. Parking is tough though.
