Probably the best and friendliest place for Roller Skating and other wheel sports. There you make friends with Talents of all sorts as well as the ground keeper TJ too a dedicated and fine individual, I love the ever changing creative Graffity, yeah, call it Art. The community events leave no one out young to old, all across the community. Thank yall for the times I had there.

Oakland Black Cowboy Association really make DeFremery Park one of Oaklands finest cultural gathering of the city. For more that 42 years on the first Saturday in October, DeFremery Park has been the host of OBCAs annual parade and festival. Great family fun and excellent food, oh, yes the beautiful horses too.

Geese poop everywhere. Playground area has blankets and orange cones on it. I wouldnt bring my kids here to play on the playground. The b - ball court is nice if you like playing in geese poop. The skate portion of it is nice though

Ms. Terry, Mr. Henry, and Ms. Val are awesome and great to work with. There are a few more staff whose name I cannot recall that are awesome too. It is the small percentage of the other staff that make them get 3 stars.

Creative Truths Studios

Absolutely my favourte park in West Oakland. Its peaceful and calm and has a diverse culture. From the B-ball players to the Skaters. It is also used to hold community events and family BBQs

Pools are closed during the entire summer and the play structure area is a mess! The center windows are all boarded up and looks very unprofessional. This center is a no for me

I love this historical park. The Victorian era recreation room a plus. The huge climbable oak trees a plus. This park has everything you need for a local summer cookout.

Some sketchy blacks that like to mutter unsavory things at women, but mostly its little kids at the playground or teems skateboarding at the skate park.
