This is one of my favorite trails in Orange County. There is free parking and easy access in and out of the trail. It can get packed on the trail with a lot of people especially on the holidays. There is a lot of different lengths of the park also so you can do a good quick hike or a longer 6 mile hike that has some inclines. I think it is a good trail to start to use as practice to prepare for longer trails or Spartan race

I started my hike for crystal cove loop trail covering 9.5 miles from here instead of parking at crystal cove park entrance saving $15
