Holy wow.... I really dont even know where to start... Im one of those people that normally picks cheap hotels, or a friends couch, since Ill just normally be sleeping there, so this was a little out of my element. We went the straight from the airport after traveling for 12 hours, so I felt ungodly out of place in jeans and a sweater and again after traveling 12 hours, I just wanted a shower and a nap. I never once felt looked down on and there was no pretentiousness like I assumed there would be being in a swanky Beverly Hills hotel. It was great. We were a little before check in time, and Jasmin still took care of us. In fact she was incredibly awesome! 2 hours later we got a knock on our door and housekeeping had a gorgeous cake and a handwritten note (from Jasmin, the front desk lady) wishing me a happy belated birthday (a week and a half prior). And OMG it was the best dessert Ive ever had in my life! So service, is beyond impeccable. The staff at the bar were we got a pizza and drinks from were super nice too. The room is amazing! Marble bathroom with a huge glass shower and a separate tub as well. The king bed was in a separate room with double doors, and we had a love seat, 2 chairs and an ottoman in the living room area with a mini bar. We also had a small balcony looking out at downtown LA and the Hollywood sign. And the bed was amazingly comfortable. Fluffy pillows, prefect comforter. The lights are all on slides, so no switches. One side of the bed had a surge protector like thing for outlets, but there wasnt one on the other side. Seriously only complaint. On the 4th floor is a fitness center, a spa, and through the spa is the rooftop pool and to the left of that is a little restaurant open for breakfast and lunch. In the lobby is Windows, which is open late and has a little of everything, including cigars for sale, and a patio outside. Through that, or a separate entrance in the corner of the drive way is Culina, and is a nice Italian style restaurant, but its closed in the afternoons from around 2-6. Both have separate Yelp listings as well. The doorman is always present and in a good mood. The valets are quick and courteous and will always open the door for you if theyre not swamped. If you have an upgraded suite room, you can use a car from the hotel for the day! If youre just in the basic room, they have a house car (a Rolls Royce!) that you can get from the valets that will drive you in a 3 mile radius, or they will call and set up a taxi for you as well! So its a little pricier, but its so worth it! The staff is all courteous and awesome, and not pretensious at all! I was pleasantly surprised. And youll see people from all walks of life, and you may get lucky enough to get a star sighting every now and then. The ONLY downside of this place, is the wifi is super lacking and super slow. If you go out on the balcony youll lose it. Seriously, ONLY complaint.

My favorite place to be treated like VIP is Four Seasons Spa in Beverly Hills. I visit several times a year for pool and spa day because of this, together with a history of impeccable service and attention to detail. I use other spas in Los Angeles area but nothing compares to a spa day here. I return to Four Seasons because you feel like VIP from minute you arrive until the time you leave. The valets open your door, doorman welcomes you. You are escorted to your destination should you require it. If there is problem handled with a smile and to your satisfaction. You dont have to ask for anything during your stay; all of your needs are anticipated from food, cocktails and even towel set up. There is an awareness throughout of providing an experience that makes you want to come back again and again. I leave feeling relaxed, regenerated and that I have received 5-Star treatment from every staff I encounter. Take the time to walk through the hotel. Interesting art, flower displays, plush comfortable seating and views. A note for smokers using pool area. The hotel did their best to keep a smoking area at pool but unfortunately because there is a restaurant poolside lost this ammenity because of City smoking regulations. You must either smoke in garage or on the street outside the entrance to hotel and valet parking. The spa is undergoing renovations at this time but I was not inconvenienced in any way. You have to use different elevator which actually is more direct route to spa. Also there are no plugs to charge your phone poolside but you may have it charged in spa office. Just ask! Parking options. Valet service or you may use self park behind hotel for free. There is very limited street parking on same street as the self park garage. Self park is usually full but not impossible. Depends on time of day. If you choose this option give yourself time to find space. Disconnect from your world. Get the best service and leave wanting more. Worth every dollar!

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around... I stayed at the Four Seasons during a press event. It was certainly the nicest hotel that Ive ever had the privilege of staying at. Its located in the heart of Beverly Hills. I was impressed right away when I walked into the lobby and saw the enormous vase of fresh flowers. The service was impeccable - from being able to request various newspapers to be delivered to your room, to a television in the bathroom, to their turn-down service. I was pleasantly surprised when the room maid caught me mid-afternoon for the turn-down service. She had memorized and knew my name. The service comes at a steep price, but one expects that in Beverly Hills. My one complaint was the out-of-this-world pricing at the restaurant, for something as simple, as say, eggs. Eating here is certainly an enjoyable experience, and youre very likely to glimpse a Hollywood star or two, but for someone from the Midwest, you cant help but feel as if youre being robbed. Having said that, I will say that I had some delectable warm cinnamon churros and ice cream at the restaurant. I had a delightful stay and would certainly recommend the hotel, with the caveat that being here is like being in another world, which you very much are. Just go into that world with both eyes, and your pocketbook, open.
