My daughters wedding reception yesterday 24 June was a ruin. The reception at the golf course was a total flop. Outside temp was 102 insides was at least 106 and no AC. The bar tap reach its limit faster that it should have since everyone needed cold drinks. Your staff attempted to bring in 3 portable AC units but didnt have the right adaptors. By that time it was better to open all the doors and let what little breeze in. People lost their appetite and didnt finish their meals because it was to hot. Some people were filling sick. 1/2 the guess left before the cake was cut because of the heat. There was so much cake left over it was a waste. We even had to take the kids and elders to the lower floor where your staff is. Just to cool down. You know it is hot when your staff breaks down and change their clothes to stop from getting heat stroke. I am the father of the bride. My mother was XXXX XXXXXXX. A very high roller here back in 2000-2005. My brother XXXX XXXXXXX has slowed down as well as I. Since I gave my daughter the money to cover her cost. I am upset at what happened and was very pissed off about how this was handled. I fill that at least your VP should knock off 50% of the total cost and pay for the alcohol bar tab. Since that was not created by us. It was thru the heat from your AC not working. Also Im upset that my other daughter with 3 kids was unable to get a shuttle back and waited for a long time outside until a worker volunteered to drive them back to the garage to get her car[ midnight]. This was unprofessional and unsafe. Please forward this to your VP Maloney and Tim Bryant. I would like a response for a fast resolution so she XXXXXX [bride] can put it pass her. PS. Most of the cake went to the staff.

We were able to play for quite a long time; which made the experience enjoyable. There are no beverage stations, you have to rely upon hostess staff to bring a drink, which forces you by etiquette to pay a tip, which is like paying for a soda and even more. So there are no free drinks provided at Cache Creek. The cigarette smoke control was better than average. There must be a gambling tendency for those that smoke. Hmmm, based on heart and cancer health risks, Im guessing those that smoke naturally gamble more uncontrollably. Or else, casinos would be smoke free like every other public place where secondary smoke and cancer are a concern. Cash Creek is somewhat architecturally attractive, though virtually no effort has been provided for art; a very plain aesthetic surroundings. From what I noticed, there are no low cost options for light meals. The nearest decent food at a reasonable price is in Woodland, California, 40 minutes away. With Casinos, a so called gambler understands that they agree that it is okay for the Casino to cheat and win. None of the games are fair and the rules are set up for the Casino to win; eventually, always. A true gambler understands and plays the odds, to actually consistently make money, to play the odds in their favor when they can. Casinos prevent this from happening with their biased rules. The people that play at Casinos are paying to go to an amusement park. They are NOT gamblers at all. So for the amusement park experience, Cash Creek Casino is a good experience. Really enjoyed my last time here at the Cache Creek Casino, for me it had what i wanted plus discovered something new on my 1st visit. I want a few things in a Casino, it should be busy without seeming crowded, offer the games I want such as craps, give me the feeling of going out for the night with people just having fun and have at least one okay sit down place for a meal that will not break the bank. So easy enough finding the Casino Resort coming from San Francisco even though I have a tendency to over think directions and get lost. Place had a pretty large crowd but never found myself having to squeeze into the games I wanted to play. Fun crowd with enough of the patron dressed for a night out and a nice simple meal at the Canyon Cafe when I was ready for a break. Had a blast playing craps and some slots plus discovered the joy of playing Pai Gow. I really enjoy games when i get to play and interact with others so for me being able to relax and play Pai Gow was friggen fun. Would recommend this if you like a night out gambling and drinking !
