Formerly known as "Mt. Trashmore" to locals as this was formerly the old trash dump land fill for the City of Alameda and locality. Access is limited/closed off as a restricted open space except only to the bike trail around it since its still venting dubious noxious gases from decomposition.

Great place to walk run or bike . Open everyday, overseen and cared for by the east bay regional park district. Great views of San Francisco bay and its environs.

Expansive with lots of sand, walking trails, and easily accesible via Park St. Great for a lazy weekend afternoon stroll.
