I usually choose this theater if the movie I want is available. Based on the seating, and the ability to reserve seating (hint, go online and buy your seats WELL in advance to get the good seats...or any not in the first three rows!), this theater deserves 5 stars. My rating is docked a star for their inconsistent food quality and horrible service. This theater always has the longest line at the concession stand, and I have watched more than one manager stand there and watch untrained staff struggle to efficiently help the customers and do nothing. Its almost as of they have a culture of incompetence. Its nearly always an exercise in frustration while getting popcorn and drinks for my family, and the popcorn is marginal in quality about 1/3 of that time. That should NEVER happen at the premium prices they charge. Also, if you are there in the late show, check your seats. More than once we have found trash and sticky spills in our seats that the staff hasnt cleaned up. As of the date of this review, the experience is my favorite, but if theater management doesnt step up their game, this theater is destined to decline in quality (it hasnt yet...). Buy tickets online early to get good seats, and show up early to endure the lines, and youll have a great experience.

The only theater in LR that doesnt suck!! Im a harsh theater critic. An A/V snob. I have only been going to the Rave for years for their quality sound and projection. Well, Breckenridge has upgraded to 4k projection!!! 4x better than the 2k projectors at the Rave and everywhere else, I just cant describe how great the detail and clarity on these projectors is! This is better than any other theater, even better than the so-called Rave "Extreme" screen and the Chenal Dickensen Lie-Max (see my reviews for both of those location for full details on why they both look terrible and are a waste of money!!). So, in the absence of a real Imax projector in Arkansas (aside from the science one), this is the best visual experience to be had. The sound is good and well balanced and plenty loud too. (see my reviews for the Rave and for Chenal Dickenson for more details on why they suck. Breckenridge 4k is GORGEOUS and it is the only theater I go to now!!) *note that the new McCain theater opening in Oct2012 is a Regal, like Breckenridge, and will have all 4k projectors also, including a grande screen which should look better than the Raves Extreme screen AND the Chenal Lie-Max!!

Horrible experience! Went to 940 showing of Guardians of the Galaxy II. First had to wait long time for manager to take my $$. Finally, a very rude young woman named Ashley, who was apparently the manager, showed up and irritabily sold me a ticket. When I went in she distractedly directed me to the auditorium while cuddling with a man who I assume was her boyfriend or husband. After about 15 minutes into the movie it stopped. I told the concession people. Said they would fix it. 10 minutes later I returned & asked me if they were gonna fix it. Ashley informed me she thought it was playing & would check upstairs. Back to my seat. 10 minutes later she comes in & tells me I am in the wrong auditorium. I advise I am in the one she told me to go to. She ignores this & tells me I can go to one that started 10 minutes ago. I ask if is 3-D? No. I advise I paid for 3-D. She offers to adjust my ticket. I ask for a refund. She coldly gets me my ticket price and wordlessly walks away. She never apologized or admitted she mis directed me. Again, ASHLEY. Very rude, irritable, & grossly unprofessional doing... Whatever, with the boyfriend. Ill never go back.

My wife and I visited this theater on a Thursday hoping to take a rare break from work and kids to enjoy a movie. When we arrived for our show that was confirmed by the Apple movies app and their phone system we were told that the movie we wanted to see was no longer showing and that there were no other movies for at least an hour. While one attendant tried to find another movie for us and explain why the information available might be incorrect another attendant chuckled and mentioned something like (you cant believe everything you read on the internet). Its easy to get on the internet and bash a business where youve had a bad experience, but in this case we went to Chenal 9 (where the same thing happened) and they were apologetic, found an alternate showing and genuinely felt bad that we were going to miss the movie. Bottom line, Breckenridge was dirty, small and unaccommodating; well make the drive to Chenal 9 in the future.

Breckenridge used to be our theater of choice since its only five minutes from our house, I even have a Regal Crown Club card. We went once since the new seats went in and havent been back. I dont want to lay down to watch a movie! But the recliners came in handy since we had to sit on the front row we had to recline to see the screen. The wide seats make it hard to share popcorn and the one time we went the cup holders were full of something wet and slimy. Also, its hard to find and operate the recline handle in the dark. Try going in with two or three kids when the lights have dimmed. With less than half as many seats how long until they raise prices? The Rave is getting our movie business now.

An older movie theater that was renovated with wide leather seats that recline and more space in the rows. This theater also has assigned seating which can be a double-edged sword. Good because you dont have to wait in line, meaning after you purchase the tickets online you can show up at your convenience without having to worry about getting a good seat. Bad because if you cant purchase tickets online and must do so in person you might not get the seats you want. Depending on the movie, you might need to purchase tickets as soon as they go on sale. The interior hasnt changed much after renovations but this gives you a glimpse of the past while still playing to the eye.

Best movie theater in Little Rock. Usually has most movies that are available in the area, prices are about the same as everyone else in town. However, since theyve remodeled all the seats are able to be reserved ahead of time and are recliners. Makes for a much better movie experience, especially for longer movies, even makes it fine to watch from the front rows since you can recline your seats and have plenty of room still. Rarely use any other theater since they remodeled. Only complaint would be that its poorly staffed during the week usually. Will have long lines or only one person taking tickets and concessions, usually not a problem though.

This theater used to also be my first choice, because of convenience and less of a crowd. However, the last time we went, we had to choose assigned seats before we entered the theater, and as one would naturally expect, other people were already sitting in our seats. If you want to engage in a conversation with strangers about whos going to sit where (which can be especially embarrassing if the trailers have already started), then this is a good choice for you. But as for me, the last time we decided to see a movie, my wife asked me which theater? My answer was anywhere but Breckenridge.
