My favorite golf facility in the greater PHX area. Two 18-hole golf courses. The Cholla course and the Saguaro course. Both courses are unique and not the same to each other. Cholla is more of a desert-park conditioning while Saguaro is more pure in its conditioning. BOTH amazing golf courses and, if you can, try and play both. The views are fantastic and there is not an encumbrance of houses surrounding you. Always very well maintained. Worth every penny. Another plus that may not seem like a big deal, but as a once-a-week golfer, it is a big deal: ball-washer *and* club-washer *on* the cart. I can not emphasize this nice detail enough. I think most golfers agree. All high-end courses should have this nice feature...the ones that dont I honestly think it takes away from a good experience. Thank you Wekopa for treating the customer well and paying attention to the details.

Went to We-Ko-Pa golf course during the July 4th weekend. The staff was a bit stuffy. Never really gave us much assistance. They seemed to be having a rough day. We arrived about 1:00 pm. The club house just wanted us to pay and go. We played on the Saguaro course. There was no martial, no starter. A maintenance man came over and said to play when your ready. The course was okay and the views were okay, at best. Troon North is much better. Both Monument and Pinnacle put We-Ko-Pa to shame! The Raptor course at Greyhawk was much more challenging, much more serene, the staff was much more accommodating. We-Ko-Pa would have to become much more customer orientated before I go back. My best wishes. Hope you turn it around.

Two of the most beautiful courses ever. Always in good condition. Views are second to none. Without question we would give the courses an easy 5 out of 5 but the customer service is some of the poorest we have ever encountered. A couple rude, unfriendly and fowl mouth bag guys. A pro shop staff that makes you feel like you are imposing when checking in. Ashame for such beautiful courses. They need to send their pro shop staff and bag boys down to Grayhawk or Troon North for training in good customer service. Then they might come close to the experiences at those two clubs.

a group of 4 of us from Vancouver BC and Seattle played here the weekend of the open and had a great time. we played both courses and found conditions, staff and facility to be top notch. green were quick and tough to hold for mid/high handicappers (which we are) but we still had lots of fun. we bought a 4 round package including a few other courses so its difficult to say how much our 2 rounds were but i suspect they were the most expensive. we played southern dunes the next day and we enjoyed that course equally so in terms of value, there may be better choices.

We attended a convention here and had the misfortune of being in town during a water main break. This kind of thing is totally out of the resorts control but they stepped up to the plate by providing endless bottled water and brought in portable restroom facilities to help keep their guests as comfortable as possible. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out they didnt bill us for that nights stay. The water was back on early that evening and other then not getting my morning shower all was good. Great job making the best of a tough situation.

The course was nicely maintained. I played during September. The course seems short on the card, but there are some hills that make up for it a bit. The bag drop guys were not too helpful, but I wouldnt let it stop you from playing here. Its a fun course and the views of the mountains and desert were nice. I didnt get to walk but the course did look like it was well designed for walkers... albeit more hilly that I thought it would be. The course definitely has character.

We Ko Pa Golf - nature and Golf at one with one another Just loved this course from the testing tees, beautifully cut fairways to the wild life on the golf course. We saw roadrunners, Koyote and many different birds. The course was testing with greens that run true and fast. The many water holes help to keep you Cool in the hot Arizona sunshine. Great food in the club house at a good price too, all our food was really tasty and would eat there again.

Ive played both courses several times and the resort courses have been my favorites in the valley, however, the Saguaro courses bunkers are in poor condition. The "sand" is more like crunchy dirt. It seems to me if youre going to charge over $200 per round the course, including the bunkers, should be in perfect condition. I played a low end course a couple days later, Superstition Springs, and the bunkers were much, much better! Come on, man!

Played the Cholla course on 2/17/15. Great course, conditions were perfect, great tees, fairways, and greens. Unbelievable scenery, loved watching the fountain shoot up every hour. This was the hardest course I played(Mcdowell Mountain, Grayhawk Raptor). It seemed a little like target golf, but that was probably because I didnt know where to hit it. Will play it again and will do the 36 hole option.

Ive played these courses several times, and have always had a good experience here. No homes on the golf course, which is nice, and some breathtaking views. We-Ko-Pa hosted #TheOven16, and the staff hit a home run with everything. Just an amazing property. Always in good shape, too, with outstanding staff. We-Ko-Pa is a home run and worth the drive. Two of the nicest courses in AZ - with Saguaro being one of my favorites, particularly for walkers. Bear in mind that during the summer on weekends, with one course closed - they tend to book tee times on 1st and 10th tee, so it does create a delay at the turn, but rounds are still on pace and around 4 hours and 20 minutes.

Played the Saguaro course a few months back and still have fond memories. Conditioning was top notch as was service. Played early morning and it was gorgeous to look out of the desert. Love Coore/Crenshaw designs with no rough and interesting bunkering. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area.

Played the Cholla course on July 30th. By far the best course in the valley. I have never played a course where every hole was my new favorite! ! Locals will tell you it is a far drive but it is a beautiful drive and takes 30 mins from airport. It is a must play. Will definitely be back!!!!!

Great staff and rooms. Pools and hot tubs were beautiful as well as kid AND adult friendly, although they had trouble keeping up with towel demands on Saturday. Very relaxing stay. Convenient drive to city offerings.

A real treat for anyone that loves to play golf. Great views of the surrounding foothills and mountains. Course is VERY well maintained and almost always in superb condition - even in the summer months.
