In un intorno di poco interesse un sito archeologico piuunico que raro Insediamento di tribus Yavapai sino all anno 1000 rappresenta probabilmente nel suo genere l unica vestigia rimasta in Usa di una costruzione fuori terra a piu piani Primo tra i parchi nazionali ad essere protetto, si conserva decentemente grazie alla copetura. Consiglio una visita, rappresentando tal sito il neolitico nord americano.

The ranger Mike is willing to take the time to chat about the ruins. He answers all the questions that u may have for him. The big house is humongous, looking at it from afar it doesnt look that big til u stand next to it. The store manager Jenma is sweet. She is very helpful too. The store has some cool items for sale. Its worth the price to learn about how the ancient people lived. The canals they designed so long ago are still being used in Az. Spend a few hours and explore the whole area good luck.

I had read up about the park before going there, so I knew not to expect anything very large. It met my expectations, and it was an interesting but brief visit. The visitors center is nice, there is a good video to watch there, and the tour guide was informative. I wished there was a bit more area to hike but I understand that this is a sensitive cultural resource and therefore the land is protected. Nice place to see if you are nearby but I wouldnt go too far out of my way to see it.

I liked this place, it was nice to be here especially my husband is partially native american. It was very educational, learned how the native Indians lived and bartered things from other places which was 150 miles away and more from their tribe. They have a tour guide who talks about the facts and they have exhibits too. Military family is free and senior citizens have discounts. I recommend this place to see.

This place is awesome. Its a great look into the past. When you first walk in the whole place is filled with information, to help you better understand the area at the time of building the ruins. How they moved water to grow their crops. Even shows you the artistry of the time. When you go outside you a close up look at the ruins, which are really neat. I highly suggest checking it out.

A very nice Park to come spend a couple or three hours to learn about the Hohokam Indian culture that thrived in this region and then mysterious vanished or scattered into the many modern day tribes we associate with this area. Pottery shards still lay naked and untouched throughout the park and designated parts of this park remain off limits as an ongoing archeological dig.

I always enjoy visiting this location to marvel at the construction of the house built so many hundreds of years ago. I brushed up against a cactus (dumb move) while taking a photo and the Ranger was able to help me out with some packing tape to help get the small needles out of my jeans. Pretty embarrassing for an Arizona native!

Quick stop with my two boys, 12 and 15. They loved it! Its a lot bigger than we thought it would be. Nice museum, friendly staff. Didnt do the tour, just walked around and took photos. There was a large owl under the big canopy, that was cool to see. Nice and quick stop, use the restroom (clean), and get some cool photos.

We visited again a few weeks ago. The entry fee seemed reasonable and the displays are very well done. The guided tour added a lot of interesting information. Its fascinating how this ruin has been regularly described in exploration notes since the days of Father Kino in the 1600s.

Its a small park, but still an amazing window onto the past. Nice museum and interpretative center. The ranger led tour was great with insight into both the prehistory of the site and the history of its preservation. If you have kids, be sure to ask about the junior ranger program.

Im always reminded when I visit this historic site that it was the first National Park due to the damage that was done to it over the years. Take time to visit it and understand it is a sacred site. The Park Rangers and volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable.

Amazing site! Used to go there in the 1970s when you used to have to cross the desert out to the middle of nowhere...... Felt like going back in time! Really really shocked to find out that people live just across the street from there now...... Very sad

My kids and I enjoyed it. There was a $5 fee per person. We watched a short movie on its history, viewed the inside exhibits and got great pics of the ruins. Suggest going when the weather is cool as it gets hot walking around outside.

Ranger Mike was great with my 9 yr old son during our visit. He helped my boy earn his "Junior Ranger" badge and let him help retrieve the flag at the end of the day. Thanks Mike, for making this a very memorable experience.

Such a fascinating place. Built by the ancient Hohokam Culture. I like to call it Arizonas first tourist trap since the Spaniards on the Anza Expedition in route to California in 1775 made a pit stop to see Casa Grande.

As far as monuments go this has been the smallest so far, but the house is grande! They have a shop to if you want to get some souvenirs. Definitely worth a stop if you are passing through or live around it.

Fascinating! An amazing piece of history! Adults are $5 to enter and kids are free. They will even give kids a cool jr. ranger badge if the complete as many pages of an activity book as they are years old.

Of Youre interested in History and Culture, then Youre at the right place. You like Nature and Wildlife too? Even better: Birds, Great Horned Owls, Lizzards... Its a National Monument, You cant do wrong!

This was a neat little place to go to. Having never been to Arizona or the desert, it was interesting to see. There isnt a whole lot to it though, so I wouldnt plan a whole day around going there.

Very interesting historic site. There is a volunteer docent who kept us riveted for an hour with stories about the ancient natives. Great book and gift shop also. Well worth the trip and entry fee.

It is an interesting historical site. It is worth seeing once, but that is enough. Inside the museum there is a movie room where you can see a documentary of the Ruins narrated by Adam Beach.

Really spend some time here and look around. It is a large campus and you should see most of it. It is fascinating how they built the canals There is a nice little museum there as well.

Very small monument with one major ruin complex, including the namesake of the monument. Nice visitors center that was recently renovated with good exhibits and air conditioning.

Great place to stop and learn about the ancient Indian ruins and how they lived in the area before Spanish explorers. They have pick nick shelters and tables for visitors.

Small. Not very exciting if you are looking to actually do something. If you enjoy reading about history and seeing one old dirt house than this is the place for you.
