The playground area has been greatly improved. There is now a fence that completely encloses the play area. The amount and quality of play equipment has improved as well. The swings are shaded now. The seats for the parents are in the sun and get hot. The bathrooms are still pretty sketchy. Naturally, there are parents who allow their children to climb of the outside of the tube slides while they are being used. The water fountains have good water pressure and gave cool water on a hot day. I was unable to check out the disc golf course today but plan to when cools off.

Love this park. From running to walking has a pretty nice layout. Go here for all my exercise. It does get crowded in the summer. But as an added this park does have a dog park you can take your dogs to which it separates the small dogs from the big dogs. Also they are redoing the playground for the kids to update it. When that gets done it will be ready for everyone. Overall this park has something for everyone including tennis courts. Sometimes it takes forever to get the grass cut but other than that would recommend coming here. Beautiful during the day.

Medal of Honor park is the best park in West Mobile. It is family friendly and has lots to do. There is a soccer field, top notch play ground (currently under construction) , a wonderful dog park for both small and large dogs and a tennis court. If you are into Frisbee golf, check out the golf trails. Hiking your thing, then go for a wonderful afternoon stroll. This park has it all.

Ill be transparent. We go to this park often to walk ourselves and our dog. However, *everywhere* in the park, especially in the dog park areas there is dog waste on sidewalks & grassy areas. The (presumed) taxpayers have paid for dog waste stations... USE THEM. Pick up after your pets. Cmon Mobile, if this continues, the park and its amenities will change.

Great place to work or eat. If youre coming, try the Eggplant Supreme appetizer, get the Scamp Almandine or Snapper Orleans all the while sipping the Bosco del Merlo Savignon Blanc from Turriano. The trifecta. Oh yeah, homemade baked Caramel Custard or Lemon Key Lime Cream Cheese Pie..........hmmmm.

It was a very disappointing experience..... we got there and all the gates were open so we went in there was several other families there also.. we were there at least 30 min then someone comes and tells us oh you have to leave its not open yet ... the part these children were playing was finished...

Its a wonderful place for all! A soccer field, trail to walk, jog or run, a dog park, and a huge playground for the children. Their going to rebuild the park soon so there are a few areas of the playground that are off limits. A great place to celebrate birthday parties for the kids!

My family adored this park. it was our very first visit, we loved the wooden play area and it reminded us of one of our favorite playgrounds in Panama city fl. Under the Oaks. it is near our new house and we will be spending a lot of time there i predict.

I love were I live!! The parks has new management which are making a huge impact on the complex. In forcing rules is a great thing!!! The office staff is super nice and I would want to live anywhere else in Mobile!!!! Love love this place. You guys rock

Great place for a walk or hiking through the trails. There is a nice childrens playground and picnic area. Good for birthday parties. They have added two wonderful areas for dogs. The areas are separated for the size of the dog.

Was very disappointed... my friend had her little girls birthday party there and me and my husband had our truck broke into while we took the kids to play. I had my wallet and some money stolen...very very disapointed!!!

Great place to walk, jog, or ride your mountain bike. I love the beautiful and peaceful trail inside the woods. Also great for the kids (nice big playground). Tennis, football, and soccer area. Now, also a new dog park.

Ive been going to cottage hill park since i was a small child and now that im grown and have a child of my own im now making memories at the same park. Love this place, i feel very safe and secure, very family oriented.

(Update; they tore it down and new one will be ready spring 2017.) The park is dirty, 3 slides are busted. Not to mention thumping music in the parking lot just makes the environment not very kid friendly.

I dont really care for how they renovated the playground (although understand the reasoning behind it), with the lack of shade, theres too much sun with makes for an unbearable place to sit on a hot day.

Medal of Honor Park is awesome. Theres a jogging trail, soccer fields, newly renovated playground, 18-hole disc golf course, lighted baseball fields, & tennis courts. Plenty of parking as well.

The soccer fields could definitely use some renovations while the softball fields seem to be in great shape. Theres a great dog park. One area for small dogs and one for large dogs.

Its quiet in there . Love taking my son there in the morning to enjoy some fresh air and quality time. Play ground for kids is awesome yet can use some renovation and maintenance.

Nice park in West Mobile. Unfortunately, as my family and I discovered, the playground area is being renovated. Cant until they finish the playground. Looks like itll be nice.

Huge wooded area surrounding and nice little play area for your toddlers and young children. Plus several fields for organized sports. All in all very lovely place to go.

If you love outdoors, there are great nature trails, some more rugged than others, and the dog park is awesome, despite the lack of poop bags
