The owners wife gave us a tour and was more than a gracious hostess. The place is beautiful, and I would love to come back for some of the events they have (pick your own blueberries, grape stomping, music, etc.). The gift shop is nice and tastings are free. I had to give it a 3 because the wines are so-so, none of them are aged very long, none are aged in barrels, they are all very sweet (even the "dry" ones) but without the crispness of sweet wines like rieslings. Even for such a small winery, I would have liked to see a wider variety, but I think they are all made to suit one type of taste. If they are going to specialize in sweet wines, Id love to see some dessert wines or something a little different. Still a fun outing.

Nonjudgmental environment. We are an interracial couple who had come to this place because of the reviews. We were meet with smiles, and much friendliness. The owners were very sweet and talkative. When we pulled in, one of them waved. The choices of wine was very good. We left with two bottles that we purchased, Peach and Regal Red, and an apricot jam. The environment was clean and professional, bathrooms clean, factory clean. Ill be coming back with a crew, and the likelihood of me referring is high. Very nice activity for a couple! Will be looking for their products in the store. Great customer service goes a LONG way.

I try to stop every time we go through Alabama. The setting is lovely, the people are _very_ nice and I like their wines much better than others Ive tasted, but I would point out that Im not a expert. Their gift shop is a wonderful place to browse for awhile; I found lots of unique small items which followed me home. My favorites are the SemiSweet Blueberry and the Carlos but be sure to try the Blueberry and Peach wines mixed - a definite treat.

The BEST local winery. Their semisweet blueberry wine is amazing and disappears from stores faster than they can get it made. The people are also very friendly and helpful, which is just icing on the cake.
