Bring your loose 5s and 1s, fierceness requires tribute and the no cover adds to the bounty. Today our table scared the chicken and waffles, the pepper steak and the cheese burger w/hot curly fries and the bottomless mimosa around the table. Superbowl anticipation aside this easily made for a fun and memorable birthday fete. Make reservations in advance be there early to get your table and food order set, the rest is pure gravy w/a changing card of hard working talent who deserve your love, respect and the loose 5s and 1s spoken of up front. Suggestion get the bottomless mimosa and ready for a few hours of wildly entertaining fun. Hostess Carnie Asada works her comic banter and timing throughout the brunch as she presents the talent. The waitstaff are accommodating and are as respectful of the performance as the attend to your service. Go have an unexpected few hours of fun at Balançoire, youll be back w/friends!
I happen to stumble upon this place just last Friday. The music caught my attention. It was cool hip-hop, perhaps pre-1996. Had my friends meet me there and we had a blast. One draw back is one must pay for two drinks when ordering. So come with a thirst before ordering or buy your friend a drink. This place has tons of potential. Dance floor very nice with hard wood floors, open and spacious. I was able to go upstairs which is an extension with a bar (it wasnt open that night). Overall, I enjoyed myself along with my friends. Nice to have it in La Mission. #onesmallstep
Thank you Bill, we had a awesome time and you were a wonderful host, so lucky to have met you, also the best Manhattans Vikki and I have ever had. ..Thank you once again, Gail, soooo much fun had here. Loved the show and pictures wish we would have taken more
Overall, the place is a bit run down and the food varies from month to month depending on who the chef is! The beer selection has improved as of late which is good, and they do host some fantastic events like Cats Corner so overall worth a visit.
Wholly disappointed. Not cheap, not good (drinks OR food), overcrowded, bad distorted music. Avoid. Oh, I forgot. They tried to charge extra hoping we wouldnt notice. We noticed.
Worst idea ever...their new way of doing things is worst than Republicans ideas for new laws. Make sure you eat before getting there.
Things have really improved since they got a new bar manager and chef a few weeks ago. Plus, theres live jazz on Wednesday nights.
Such an amazing venue- great sound system/ great lighting. Book early to play a 20 minute set. 7pm until late. Awesome night
They have a great drag show on Friday night that is very welcoming to everyone. Cruzin dloo hosts a great group.
I went here for paint nite...had so much fun....the chicken wings are amazing and the drinks were right on time
The Sunday brunch & drag show is so much fun, but not suitable for those who are offended easily
We come for the Cruzin Da Loo show that happens every Friday night. Fun drag show for sure.
The drag brunch - one of the best things Ive done in my life! +Bottomless mimoses
New Orleans eggs, live music and bottomless mimosas: a good Sunday breakfast.
Just recently found this place but too bad they have closed for renovation.
Friendly staff and great Friday night drag show every week.
Chill spot to go have a drink and get some snacks
No good food, bad music and service to EXPENSIVE
