My wife and I had our wedding service and reception at Grandview on October 6 2012. I really want to thank Jane for making our day go so smoothly. We were more than pleased with the service and attention we recieved. Everyone at Grandview did a fantastic job. The wait staff and bartenders were great. Our bar was to close at 8:30 and I ask Jane if we could pay for an additional hour ( because we were having a great time). She checked to make sure her staff could stay an extra hour, which they had no problem doing. We have had so many of our guest tell us that our wedding was by far one of the BEST they ever attended. I personally feel that Grandview played a large role in that. All we had to do that day, was get married. Grandview took care of the rest. I also want to compliment Chef Scott for preparing a fantastic meal. We found Scott to be very easy to work with. When we came to Grandview for our intial meeting, Jane was on vaction (which we knew ahead of time). Scott stepped into her role and explained everything to us. We would have no problem reccomending Grandview (which we have). On our reccomendation a bride to be that my wife works with booked her 2013 wedding at Grandview. I think that says it all. We have hosted a baby shower and a surprise anniversary party at Grandview in the past two years, both events were perfect! The food selection was great, the food itself was really good, and the service at both parties is exactly what you would like for an event. The ballroom is really nice, it has just been repainted and the bathrooms were redone too, so everything looks (and is) fresh and clean. Oh and there is a ton of parking next to the ballroom, which is nice when you have a lot of older guests (anniversary party). Lastly, if you have your event when the weather is nice outside make sure you have a photographer because the outside pictures are AMAZING! With the golf course in the background or the building itself, our anniversary party pictures turned out fantastic and the setting is really pretty. Dont hesitate for a second, Grandview earned our business and we will be happy to turn back to them in the future!

I want to give a shout-out to the friendly staff at Grandview. As an event planner, I work with a lot of places and they are happily willing to do almost anything you ask of them. If you are looking for a beautiful room with character and a great nostalgic covered patio overlooking the golf course, I would suggest you check them out. It is definitely one of the most beautiful places to hold an event in the York area. You really have to see it to believe it. The food is excellent also!

This whole course, with the exceptions of the green is a rough course. No, not hard just every fairway feels like playing out of the rough because of the decision to not cut the grass. Hitting a ball in the middle of the fairway but still losing it because the grass is too long. Not mention the pro shop guy running out to fuss at us for not playing with a certain twosome who had just teed off while we were still 20 minutes early. Not going back here, even if it were free.

Course is not irrigated, thus fairways are without much grass & hard. The greens are excellent, fairly fast & roll true. You must allow for roll on all shots. Most holes are fairly straight with only a few doglegs. Only 2 or 3 holes have water hazards. 1st few holes are parallel fairways & fairly tight so straight tee shots are required. Biggest issue is no practice range for warmup.

Average Course. Every time I have played at Grandview the pace has been tortuously slow. Nothing puts a kink in your game like waiting an eternity for the groups ahead to mosey on through for each shot. The greens are usually nice, but the fairways could use some attention. If the pace of play werent so slow, I would visit it often.

never have an event at the grandview. they completely ruined my wedding, served raw meat to guests, served food an hour late, said they could hold 100 people more like 60. I missed all my special dances because of the food not being ready. the staff were sloppy and rude to my guests. Totally terrible!!

This is the crappiest place to play golf in Pennslyvania. I felt like I was hitting the ball off of concrete. What you pay to play there is insane compared to playing at a nice course like honey run or heritage hills. NEVER GO PLAY HERE, ITS HORRIBLE.

Had a blast on this beautiful course with my nephew for his birthday. My sister-in-law had a wonderful time being our driver and caddy. The staff were fun and made my nephew feel like Tiger Woods.
