Snuck over this way from Gilbertsville for a morning winter round. My buddy couldnt join me so I called ahead to cancel the 2-some. Pro shop was polite and appreciated the call. I ended up missing the turn into the course because it looked like I going into a shopping center. Anyways, Im walking towards the first tee and I spot a couple guys coming out of the basement doors with their clubs (they were members) and I ask them if I can play with. 3 of us hit the fairway, the 4th guy hits a ground ball to 3rd base. Hilarity ensues and 4 hours later were in the bar. Nicole was the bartender and she was great, poking fun at the members and letting me join in. Had a couple hot/bbq wings and they were pretty good also. You can see honest efforts of making the course easier (taking down some trees and mowing some of the natural areas down) and improving a water hazard. You can try to hit driver on every par 4 but a handful of holes have bunkers in the fairways and laying up short is definitely the correct play unless youre 250yds straight and all carry every time. The greens require some intelligence and speed discipline. All 5 bunkers I was in were in good shape. I enjoyed my round there and Ill be back up there again very soon.

Jaws strikes again! This is now The Jaworski wedding and outing factory. Evidently there is a lot of money to be made with weddings and outings. What course has outings on a Friday and Saturday? A reduction in spend on maintenance of the course is evident. Some tee box areas are now overgrown with weeds. What used to be the putting/chipping green has been replaced with a wedding area. (Which shuts down play on 3rd hole at times). The new putting green is a joke. There is a short game area but you must have a membership to use?!? The food in the restaurant is average. Ordered 3 different drinks from menu and each time were told "were out of that". Asked for plates for apps and were brought out coffee saucers - wtf!?!?

Beware of going here on Wednesdays. When you book a tee time they dont tell you that you only get to play the back 9 twice but still charge you for 18 holes. There is a league and they pack the place so you dona lot of waiting. Also my partner got stung very bad by bees at the one tee box. Best in the ground.

We had our 50th Wedding Anniversary party there. This was the third function we have had and it was fantastic. I cannot say enough about the food, service. It was the best. If you are thinking about any kind of function please book them, THEY ARE THE BEST. AAAAAAAAA

Great pubic golf course. Fairly challenging layout but not one you will lose a lot of balls on. Greens are in great condition and fast. Full serve restaurant and 19th hole.

Beautiful course. Very diverse with its water hazards and bunker layout. Definitely recommend going if you havent already. Only problem is the horrible pull carts.
