I have been going to Conneaut Cellars for over 20 years. The winery setting is welcoming. It is clean, well organized and the store is decorated in a way that puts you at ease when you walk in. They over a great variety of wines, some unique to the region. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. They will give you samples before you buy to be sure you are getting what you like. Most samples are free. Some have a small tasting charge but if you buy a bottle after the tasting it will be deducted from the price. The winery offers some interesting wine accessories, recipes using their wines, special discounts for frequent and case buyers, and does excellent custom labels for events. The prices are reasonable. They offer several events throughout the year that are fun and well attended. I am anxiously awaiting the opening of the distillery and anticipate that these new products will be the same high quality at a reasonable price as their wines.

Our family comes to the area once or twice a year, and we usually make a point of stopping in to buy a case of wine. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the wine is very good, and prices are reasonable.

Small place more of a tasting room and counter then a full scale cellar. Not a lot of room to buy and enjoy. Better to shop and take home.
