Went to Plumb Lake golf course to play in a tournament where the proceeds go to school scholarships. The tournament was filled with golfers and looking forward to a good day of golf. Unfortunately the skys opened and after 6 of 28 holes the tournament was called. The owner was asked to please give the golfers a rain check as each golfer payed $70 for 18 holes. The owner said absolutely not. Not going to give anyone a rain check. Myself and the 3 others I was with will never golf here again. If you go be sure the weather will hold up.

Played the course on a trip to the Northwoods and absolutely fell in love. Quirky old 9-holers are the best. If you expect a big, wide, modern golf course, go elsewhere, but if you appreciate course architecture from the early part of the 20th century, you will love this place.
