Ive golfed here a few times. The layout of the course is a little odd with the driving range right by the first fairway. The range balls end up all over the course and its sometimes a challenge tracking your own ball down in the mix of range balls. Near hole eight there is a drive approach that allows vehicles onto the course from the parking lot of a nearby apartment complex. It looks like some local teenagers routinely take advantage of the drive approach to do donuts on the fairway of hole eight. There appears to be old tennis courts on the property that are now over grown and in disrepair. Its an eyesore. The course generally seems to be in a state of neglect. I tolerated all of this because the course is within walking distance of my home. I have golfed at Glenmoor approximately eight times over the last two months. I recently wanted to introduce my son to golf. He is eight years old. We called to schedule a T-time and were told there was no one on the course, so a T-time would no be necessary. We could just walk on when we arrived. The day was overcast and threatened rain, so there werent many golfers out and about. Upon our arrival at the course I sat my son in one of the carts with our clubs and gear. I walked into the pro shop and was immediately confronted by a slightly overweight man that looked to be about 55 years old. He has greying hair and a bad attitude. He scolds me saying that my son doesnt look old enough to be on the course. I tell him my son is eight and ask how old he needs to be. The older, slightly overweight gentleman with the bad attitude informs me that eight is the age that Glenmoor will allow children to golf, but my son doesnt look eight and he tells me to leave. He does all of this very rudely. I explain that my son is eight and even if he wasnt, what would it hurt for us to golf. The course was empty. He refuses to even speak to me about it and tells me to leave. Ive never been treated so poorly at a golf course. I had tolerated the poor conditions of the course, but I wont tolerate the rudeness and insensibility of the staff at this course. Save your self the wasted trip and go to one of the other nearby courses.

I live by this golf course, and have always loved the course. I love the elevated par 3s, the shade, the sand (some of the best to play out of), the green conditions, even the back 9. What I dont like....is Mike, the head pro and it seems he is working the desk all the time. He is not particularly rude, just a pain in the ass. He knows I play here alot, sees me here once or twice a week. I like to play by myself, which isnt usually a problem. I will wait until I can play by myself, in other words I dont cop an attitude. There will be a 4 some coming up 9 and he will hem and haw about me starting on #10, where I can see no one is playing. Or he will try to pair me with someone on the front, even when there are no other players waiting. I like Bobbi in the office...never any hassles and says if I hurry I can start on #10. I can play 9 holes without a bunch of yahoos or family in front of me in 1 hr 40 mins hitting and playing 2 balls. His attitude keeps me from wanting to play this course. I will drive out of my way to mountain view (a cow pasture) or river oaks (a harder course) just because their staff is nicer. He doesnt care...he gets plenty of play there and doesnt need my $$$. Without Mike, this would be a great place to play. Keep the families on the front, Ill play the back to myself !

Two stars because it seemed nice. Unfortunately I never made it out of the parking lot because my 3-month old posed a liability issue with their insurance carrier. Despite no information about this on their website, I shouldve known because they "have a 40-year old sign in the clubhouse" saying as such. Just a heads-up to any parent who would like to hit the range (like me), or get a few holes in, with their kiddo.

This is a great golf course for the mid level player. The front nine is extremely fun to play (not too hard, not too easy). Its very interesting with some great challenges for the holes that offer great risk reward. The back nine is more challenging but less interesting as it snakes through housing developments. Overall, this is a great course.

Hidden Gem in Salt Lake City! This is the best golf course in SLC that nobody plays, it is a tough track that will test all facets of your game! Its well worth the Drive! They also have a great mens league that plays on Wednesdays and Thursdays! Head pro needs a little work, he need to be less abrasive, and treat his players better!

Didnt tell us they were going to be doing work on the all the greens on the front nine when we made our tee time, also didnt tell us once we were done with our first nine we would be stuck behind 5 foursomes and wouldnt even offer a rain check. Front staff was extremely rude.

A tale of two nines and the back nine is tight and lots of houses/condos. Even as a straight hitter it makes me nervous. Front nine much more enjoyable generally. Friendly staff and generally not crowded so a fast round is usually had.

A fun course and very reasonable prices, can get quite busy though. Also, there are a lot of houses on the course making it a bit nerve-wracking at times. There is also very little protection (if any in many places) for the homes.

The new management is a great improvement over previous years. They are a lot more friendlier and have made a lot of improvements to the clubhouse, driving range, and putting greens. Best golf for your money in Salt Lake County.

Generally a pretty fun course, back nine can cost you some extra $$ if you spray, but I must say 21 years old to be able to drive a cart is absoutely ridiculous, can drive a car, but not a cart. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

I grew up playing Glenmoor and working on staff for several years in high school. The course is great, but the staff now is horrible. I have been hung up on during three separate occasions simply trying to make a tee time.

Staff is abrasive and rude, Marshall is pretty laid back though. Some of the course is unkempt. Front 9 is some of the best you can do, back 9 is good, but be prepared to lose balls in backyards, and replace broken Windows

Been playing this course for about 15 years now. Always in great condition, fun holes, and is challenging, although not overly so. If you cant keep them straight off the tee expect to hit a couple houses on the back 9.

I really enjoy the doglegs at Glenmoor. My favorite holes include #s 1, 2, 3, 4, 12, 13, 17. Ive played this course a lot and its always been in good condition. It is mostly flat and easy to walk.
