I just had my ceremony and wedding reception at Plaza Lecea and cannot express how amazing our entire experience was. The wedding coordinator (Susan Obregon) and Event Manager (Stephanie Lewis) were extremely helpful every step of the way, from the touring and answering questions about décor/vendors/set up to the planning process when we went over our itinerary to when we left our wedding reception at midnight. I felt like I was taken care of as the client and that they really wanted me to have a fabulous time. And that we did! We had various options to choose with their beautiful linens and we picked an ornate lace overlay that I had never seen before. They had an approved vendor list to choose from which was very helpful because there are so many caterers out there these days and we were also able to bring in our own alcohol which was great and a big money saver. What really drew me to this venue was the beautiful spiral stair case that I used during our wedding ceremony. When I walked down to greet my husband, it was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. Our reception was upstairs in the larger room and we had our buffet in the smaller room. The kids also watched movies in there after dinner. They have a gorgeous silver chandelier in the foyer area that sets the tone for the entire facility. There were remarkable views of the Hill Country and surrounding area and as the sunset, it was breathtaking. Their vendors were very professional and went above and beyond. I would highly recommend Plaza Lecea to any bride looking for a venue that will offer you elegance, amazing customer service, and beautiful night skyline scenery. Meeting her was a high lite in my carpentry career !Since then Ive worked in some of the finest homes in San Antonio . Still in business after 44 years , now owned by my son , Ken Leyendecker Jr. & still rated as the # 1 custom carpentry in southern Texas! Shes a lovely person ! Ken Leyendecker Sr.

Its rare to find a beautiful facility with technological capabilities offered by competent, professional staff. This, however, was offered by the Event Center at Plaza Lecea. The conference facility was perfect, and the event staff ensured everything was was top notch. Anyone looking for beautiful views and an added bonus of on site parking must take a tour of this facility.

As an event manager myself, its refreshing to find a venue whos coordinator really understands the needs of fellow managers as well as clients. Working with them is smooth and worry free. I worked directly with Stephanie and she was extremely helpful and accommodating to all changes I had to make per my clients request.

Always enjoy attending events at this venue. Although I have never hosted an event here, it always brings a smile to my face when I receive an invitation to any celebration at Plaza Licea. Distinctive decor, simple elegance, gorgeous views - cant go wrong and wait til i go again! :)
