Interesting place and beautiful drive through the hill country. I would recommend planning other activities after visiting this place. Its kind of a get down take pictures and leave kinda place. Down town Kerrville is very nice and there are a variety of restaurants in Ingram. I would recommend trying Billy Jeans restaurant because it has a nice view of the river and good food. We took a walk on the river trail in Kerrville and it was nice after a big lunch.

This is an awesome replica of the original Stonehenge, but you dont have to drive to the middle of Great Britain to visit it. When I visited, it was in the middle of a Sunday and all the businesses and information stations were closed. This made it even more fun as I didnt have to compete with anyone for pictures or just wandering through it. Very worth the drive and visit. Glad I made the effort to find and see it.

It is on the river with an outdoor theatre and art center attached. Unfortunately, everything was closed for 4th of July holiday. Stonehenge II is open to the public even if the theatre & art center are closed. A really nice place to visit. Just beware the yellow jacket nests.

Nice place to visit, outdoor amphitheater next to it where they present shows in the evening during summer time. Did not have the chance to see any shows. The city is not too far, but not much to see there. Few places for eating nice BBQ plates

Real cool place to visit but the encore restaurant at this location was very bad. Was very hot inside. They were not welcoming at all. And all three table we set down at they came up to us and said they were reserved for other parties.

It was a great place that we did make a special trip for. We got some great pictures and even got to go to a reception at an exhibit in the cultural center! Great stop if you are in the area and a very scenic drive from Austin.

This was a cute novelty to visit. There is a restaurant next door if you are looking for a pit stop on your drive across Texas. Note that its not right off the interstate - you have to drive about six miles to find it.
