Keeton is in an even rougher part of the city than the other city courses. As such, you have to tune out the passing DART trains and other noise. There are a group of ducks on the course who make it their job to poop up a storm on some of the fairways. The course is very tight and you should expect people to hit into your fairway. Each time I have played there have been pace issues - both the pro shops fault and the players. Despite all that, you can absolutely enjoy your afternoon here without too much difficulty.

This course has improved considerably in just a few months. They had some set-backs with the flooding earlier in the year but they appear to have made a recovery. When I golfed back in June, the course was covered in wasps/hornets. That is no longer the case. Greens are in great shape and roll true. Unfortunately most of the water around the course has dried up but there isnt much the course can do about that. The price is great. This course is probably the best value-golf in Dallas as of the time of this review.

Played on a Sunday afternoon - twosome. Staff were terrific and accomodating at check in. Course recently re-opened after intense flooding had closed it for many weeks. Staff had done a great job of getting in playable shape. Only saw major issues (evidence of and damage from flooding) on one or two holes. Pace of play was good. Price was very reasonable. Scenery very nice (Trinity River bottoms) with lots of greenbelt and hardwood forest. Id recommend the place and well be back.

Where can you play golf with little pressure,,very few people on the course at any time. The greens are large and varied, well maintained. The fairways are always fun. Not many bunkers on the fairways. A great intermediated course. Can do 9 holes or 18. An easy but not too difficult course at times narrow thru the trees on the first 9, and open with many water hazards on the last 9. Inexpensive greens fees.

This is my spot. First course I ever played, will always hold a spot in my heart. Very reasonably priced, well I can only speak to the twilight rates. Only time I ever play. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say, post updates somewhere regarding tourneys that are scheduled. I have driven over numerous times only to find the course packed for a tournament.

The course is fun to play a great course to walk. Have met good players who enjoy the course and we are able to play at a good pace. Whenever my friends want to play, I try to encourage them to play Keaton golf course.

Excellent experience from the customer side of things. Assistant Pro Matt Rippy is amazing teacher and the rates are very reasonable. They also run great programs like the Tuesday Night Scramble!

Keeton, is still one of the really fun golf courses in all of the Dallas area. We played there today. Great fun. Just to bad they dont allow Senior monthly memberships.

Played the course last and enjoyed it but the greens have died. Dont waste your time in going until they can bring the greens back.
