I went here to see Relient K and enjoyed a great show. No complaints. However, if you go to the Mercy Lounge and need a place to park, do not park in the lot across the street on 8th despite there being no signs that say so. The Express Towing company will tow your car. We saw people being directed to the lot across the street by a man on the other side of the street. There were no signs that anyone noticed at the time we parked. After parking and enjoying the concert, we came outside to find that the entire parking lot had been towed/was being towed. Our cab driver told us they have been enticing people to park in their lot and then towing their cars for a while now and making a ton of money. Some were even reporting a scratched car as well. Please do not make the same mistake we did and park in this lot.

Please have mercy :P One of the nicest music concert places in town, way better then Cannery next door and room is quite spacious and sound system pretty well set up. I have been here for a few concerts already and best part is , its never that expensive and the crowd that comes in is 21+ and well maintained. The stage is amazing and everyone is catered as GA so nothing to worry about, music speakers are well placed and on top of that they have a open patio outside as well to breathe. So do go enjoy this spot and no matter who is playing you can go to the rooms next door or go downtown for boradway fun.

If someone is knocking the acoustics of the ballroom, YOUVE GOTTA BE KIDDING. Im a wedding DJ and worked at the Cannery Ballroom last night. Folks, it doesnt get any better than this place. First off, the acoustics are first-rate. The hard floors and brick walls help the bottom-end just resonate beautifully. And as for the staff, first-rate, top-notch folks that make the event flow smoothly from beginning to end. Ive never had a bad gig at The Cannery Ballroom. Ultra-highly recommended - Rick Ryan, Nashville wedding DJ, Lighting, Video and Photobooth.

My third trip to Mercy Lounge was a complete flop. My friend was denied entrance to a show, because she had forgotten her I.D. Weve never had an issue getting into the 18 and up shows, generally because I am older than her, and even this time and having another older friend, the guard denied her entrance. He was pretty gruff about not letting her enter unless she had a "parent" or her I.D. Of course, we also witnessed others, with very dissatisfied expressions, leaving the venue as well.

Horrible sound. This place is great if you love a sound guy turning so much bass up your ears bleed. Seriously couldnt hear anything but bass at the rock show... It hurt to not even uncover my ears. The past 3 times Ive been there, this has been the case. All of our occumpany parties have complained about this same issue. Idk... Maybe the sound guy is just deaf and doesnt hear it. Cant imagine why...

Awesome venue. Probably in my top 5 anywhere. Definitely one of the best in Nashville. Friendly staff, they go above and beyond. Great feel to the main room. Best of all on this trip was that even with the outside temp near 100 and a lot of bodies in the room, I was very comfortable, and I am rarely comfortable, usually overheated, but tonight was perfect. Great job. Would highly recommend.

Saw IAMX at Mercy Lounge in October 2016. Great atmosphere, staff and seevice. The drinks were pretty good, too. The music sounded phenomenal for a venue of its size. It was as if I were at a Concert Hall. I would definitely, happily go back to see any band I loved or if I were in the area and looking for a great place to chill♡ ~gs{X}

Always a fun venue! Their tickets are affordable and their free parking makes it easy to come see shows. Because the stage is on the second story, you look out the windows in between songs and get a beautiful view of downtown. They manage to fit a surprising amount of seating for being a smaller space.

This is my favorite music venue in Nashville. They always have some really good Indie bands playing and it is an intimate atmosphere to see a show. There are great viewing angles and the beer selection is above average. Check their website because they update their calendar pretty often.

Saw Sleigh Bells here and CSS. Purity Ring is playing soon so this place books some cool bands. My only complaint was how hot the place was. If you come here dress light! Leave the jacket in the car and wear shorts especially if you plan on dancing while you enjoy the music.

Ive seen quite a few concerts here. The sound is usually ok...but the layout of this place is terrible. There are wood beams blocking your site of the stage and blocking walking paths everywhere. Watch out for the gigantic security guy at the front door, hes a a di@k!

Great wait staff but the venue is like a big shoe box in you have only the front area thats a good seating but then you get crammed in there and its hard to get out. It gets a bit congested. I was there in Winter and sweating inside.

Great service run by some of the best people in Nashville, they really care about the local scene and making sure they provide awesome shows for their fans. Always a fun time, and beer prices are acceptable.

This place is fantastic. Rude bartending male who snaps at customers and doesnt have a concept of whos next. I tipped him twice and regretted it. Aside from his rude customer service, the place is great.

Neat venue with decent bars. The show I caught over there wasnt too packed, and you could usually get to the bar within 5-10min. Good views nearly everywhere in the house. and decent sound quality.

As many customers have said before the customer service at mercy lounge is almost the worst in town. The staff is untrained and unprofessional, and mixed with the high prices this place is a wash.

Personally hosted and held many shows at this amazing venue. The entire staff/bartenders and the sound guys are some of the best in Nashville. Definitely worth going to see LIVE MUSIC here!!!

Good value and venue. Saw a trio of bands in October. The crowd was good and they have a nice balcony and back room where you can relax or take a break.

Great music venue. Multiple areas and there is always something going on. Make sure to check out the after parties if you go to a show.

The shows here are usually pretty cheap, they have decent drink specials and a room to go play pool in when a boring band is playing.
