I played this course 3 times in the last week and really tried to like it. Great staff, fairways are for the most part good, greens look good but they are rolling pretty slow. The really not fun part of this course are the lack of recptiveness of the greens. Strike a solid short iron with a great golf ball at what should be a correct distance and in most instances you are rewarded by being 30-50 feet past the pin. I am not sure what is under the grass on the green but they bounce like it is asphalt. Combine this with very thick crabgrass around the greens and it is just difficult to have fun here. It is just downright depressing to hit great iron shots and have them bounce/roll way beyond a normal green. Try to land short and if you short it from the fringe by a foot and you are in the crab grass. I like difficult and challenging courses but this was just not fun golf.

The greens are in the best shape I have ever seen them. Fairways and first rought cut are coming in very nice. Great work by the head greenskeeper and his crew. New restaraunt concept is something I would recommend to anyone; awesome food. Course is under new ownership and management that is obviously putting a lot of effort into the course.

All and all it one of the great courses that I have golfed . Very challenging. The greens keeper was very helpful. Ask to speak with him , he will definitely help u with your game on this course.

Overall the course was in poor shape with crab grass everywhere including the middle of fairway. Nice people and a low rate but none of our foursome would return.
