I really loved this venue for my wedding. The cost for renting was within my budget, and it was really nice for a small (approximately 50 person) reception. All the tables and chairs were provided, and it was newly updated and very pretty, with little need for decoration. However, I am only giving the venue 3/5 stars due to the event manager, Mindy. In order to run a successful event venue company, there are basic requirements which I felt were lacking with her: Friendliness: She was very short and terse with myself and my family at times, including my friend/event coordinator. She seemed almost "put off" at times to offer help or answer basic questions. Organization: Each time we met, she did not have my paperwork handy and had to go searching for it, or ask me to remind her when my wedding was. This is something she should have in a planner and a file, and it should be information she should be prepared with BEFORE meeting clients. She also had me remind her a few days before we were coming out to finalize things a few weeks before the wedding. This is not something the client should be responsible to do. She should have initiated communication with me, sent out reminders before to confirm everything. Communication: I would often not receive responses for several days, or my message would not be read. For example, when I left town for my wedding, I advised her that I would no longer be able to respond vial my work email (as I had been) and to please text me with any responses. However, I received two more emails, including an email to my work email THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING asking what time I would be showing up to decorate the venue. I obviously didnt read that until I got back from my vacation a week later. Also, I had asked her if we could meet a half hour later to finalize everything two weeks before, and she had told me that she had already booked someone at 2 pm (??). I arrived at 1:40 PM and waited until 2:00 for her to show up. She came in and asked me if we had been waiting (myself, my two young and impatient daughters, my event coordinator, and my photographer) long and asked why I didnt come back (to Andolinis) when we got there. I texted and called her three times, and was not made aware she even worked at Andolinis. I should not have had to go looking for her, either. She did not apologize for any of this. Overall, my requests were answered and usually filled, so the entire experience with her was not bad. However, in order to really make this a successful business, there are some KEY items she needs to work on ASAP. The venue is beautiful, affordable and centrally located. However, if you are not initiating everything, this may not be the person to work with. I believe if I had not initiated meetings, communication, etc. that my event wouldve honestly been forgotten. This place has potential but there needs to be some changes made in personnel.

We had my sons rehearsal dinner at The Ashley. The venue was perfect for our event. Mindy recommended an excellent caterer who is familiar with The Ashley. Mindy was easy to work with, especially planning the party from long distance. The space was perfect for our event, and they provided the tables, chairs, and tablecloths. We had a great time and the room looked beautiful.
