We came down to Corvallis for wine tasting based off of the Wine Tour app on the iphone. It generated a tour for us, and this was our third of fifth planned stop. However, after the Wine Vault, we had to call it quits. They do free tastings here for Pheasant Court wine, which the winery is just up the road. Their runs are no more than 1,000 cases yet, so they are small. Due to this, you can only buy it around this area, and mainly in the Wine Vault. The building itself was the original bank in Philomath, and the vault is where they store their wine. They do tastings on the weekend, however there is also a coffee shop in the same building that is open 7 days a week. In terms of service and value, we had one of the best times here. We tasted 12 different wines. This included their Reserves, which are usually a $5 tasting fee that is waived in the event of purchasing the wine, but he didnt tell it to us that way. By the end, we were wanting to buy wine, so it really worked out. Accepts credit cards.
