Never again! Customer service, terrible. Out of the three guys who helped me, two of them were nice, the owner, a jerk. I had been visiting family in Ohio and decided to stop in and see what they have before I made my 9 hour drive home. The store was okay and I picked out what I wanted. The first two employees told me that they can package my coral up in styrofoam box, considering that I had a 9 hour drive ahead of me, but the owner came out of the back and practically yelled at my face, "5 dollars." Im standing there confused, he goes on, "I pay $10s for the boxes, had you paid for more stuff, I would have given it to you for free." Stunned, I opt out paying for the box, looking toward the other employee, but all he did was just shake his head. When I asked earlier if they had any single bags of reef crystals, the employee said he could open a box and sell it individually, but at the checkout the owner told me flat out no, and sold me kent marine instead and went on a rant about how it "doesnt matter what kind of salt it is, its the same price" bullcrap. Had I not took my entire family an hour away from our route, I would have not purchased anything at this point. I took my sad little frag, half rate salt and left the store. That last 2 minute interaction with the penny-pinching owner transformed my plesant visit into a horrible one. He was so rude that he didnt even want to ring me up because it seemed like a waste of time to him. I told the other employee to tell the owner that he lost out on a return customer. Dont bother driving out of your way, you might waste the owners "precious time" unless youre spending more than $500.

We found Reef Systems a year after getting into the saltwater aquarium hobby and I cant say enough good things about them. Todd and staff go above and beyond to answer their customers every question. They are honest and are only willing to sell you equipment that works and livestock that will thrive unlike the other aquarium stores around that took thousands of our dollars on ineffective hardware and incompatible corals for the tank setup they sold us. Todd and team corrected our setup, got our tank stable, and we have an amazing and thriving ecosystem with the peace of mind we have top notch support to quickly identify and correct any issues that inevitably due arise in this hobby. Todd has strong opinions on how to setup a tank but that is because he knows what works and that knowledge has saved me years and a lot of money in the trial an error process I was working through on my own.

Todd and the employees at reef systems are great! They are honest, knowledgable, and helpful. They sell you the right thing for your aquarium. Unlike other aquarium stores that just try to sell you whatever makes them the most money. They have great prices and know how to get you a sustainable reef setup. Todds extensive background doing research with universitys like The Ohio State University and Otterbein University gives him strong opinions on how a tank should be kept, but its never served me wrong and his shop is living proof that he is one of the best in the country. Owner is very one sided. As soon as I walked in the door I was hounded by him bragging about how much he knew and experience he had. I couldnt even look for myself. My grandfather who was with me walked out. All his marine fish look sick! I will never go back to this shop. I will stay with my local supplier and drop my cash there. I have spend thousands of dollars on my tanks and he lost out as me being a "client".

Visited a yr ago when I first started my salt tank. Owner was arrogent and acted as if I didnt do as he said my system would always fail. I cant stand a one sided answer when there are tons of ways to run a tank. His prices are way higher than most but had a nice sore front in front of his house. Will never return and hope others fallow suit

This is now my only store that I go to because of the amazing staff and helpful service. Todd may be a bit fast pace but, he is the most knowledgeable person you could talk to about fish and corals. Right now I have a 60 gallon cube and, because of Todds help he has made it my favorite hobby and my tank a prized possession to me.

They are a great shop with an amazing concept, but The costumer service could have a slight improvement. The staff is also friendly, and the prices are good! Over all, this is an amazing store, and the corals are great. Definitely stop here if you are in town!

Awesome corals, super knowledgeable about all things coral reef related! You might have to wait a few minutes to talk to a staff member, but it is definitely worth it! They are honest and trustworthy, and more than willing to help you!

This is a great place. The owner really know what he is talking about. There prices are about the same as others (HIGH). You cant hardly get them to lower the prices. But friendly to work with. I will be back to buy more.

Despite Jens comment for throwing a fit for not wanting to buy a box for $5-10 to hold a single coral..... the service isnt always nice but they are usually busy and very experienced. I recommend coming here.
