When i got there and met Deb the owner she said "wow a customer".It was a slow day and had just rained one inch she claimed.I paid for 18 holes and asked if there was any hold up on the course or if i could get right out.She said I could get right out and hardly anyone was on the course. Halfway through the first nine holes i got caught behind 2 groups of foursomes.Instead of letting me play through i had to wait the rest of the front nine . At the turn these guys went right on to the back nine holes.I figured i was going to get caught up again and have to wait.I asked Deb for a rain check and explained why. She declined and offered me to play the front nine holes over again if I did not want to wait.I had no choice because i already paid. Halfway through the front nine it started to rain heavily.I immediately went to the clubhouse and asked Deb for another raincheck .This time it was legit. She declined again and was rude to me. THIS IS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.Maybe that is why there was no one golfing there. If you read the other review,the other complaint is also about a raincheck. So this seems to be a pattern with the way Deb treats golf customers. I will never play there again .

I LOVE it here! The Course is in great condition, the Greens are fabulous! The staff is smiling and happy. I get to use every club in the bag due to hole variety. It’s not one of those courses that makes everything as easy as possible: the par 3’s have difficult (fun) greens, there is rough, lakes, and woods. It’s true golf! A fabulous lady, Deb, runs the place, the teaching/clubmaking Pro, Brad, added ten yards to my drives in like, ten minutes - in a FREE lesson he holds every Saturday! Did I say FREE? The hot dogs are the best I’ve ever had. There’s a full bar, and plenty of room for parties. Oddly, the local weather man is often wrong - check the radar - you’ll see that MOST of the time rain is forecast, it skips Dorlon! (That lady, Deb, will give rain checks, just not often, and why would she? Pros golf in rain and so should we, unless it’s a total surprise. So ignore those whiners). When I golf Dorlon, I feel like I’m “out there”, on a good course in the country, where I can have fun, test my skills, and be uninterrupted by phones, jobs and civilization. I think I’ll head on over right now.

You can not go off the reviews done a year or more ago. Recently went twice just because deal. The greens are the worst I have ever played on. Tee boxes look like my back yard and the fairways look like the rough next to fringe......So terrible to play on. We would hit fairways off tee shot and have to move our ball on what is supposed to be a solid ground fairway. People here writing good reviews are making it up or work for the course. absolutely horrid. save your money and your time and go play course where they actually like the sport of golf. Honestly the foot golf courses look the same as golf course.......

Played the course several times and though its not a country club by no means..it still will challenge your game. The greens on a good day can be fast and tricky to read and most are very large. The fairways are not the best but again its a public course but make no mistake you dont want to be in the rough at any hole. The front nine has a few holes that will force you to place the ball in a good area or else you will be faced with some tuff decisions.They have reasonable pricing and the beer is always cold. I recommend this course to anyone who loves a good challenge. Al in Medina

Ive golfed Dorlon for years and never had a problem. I do not appreciate the fact that Deb who I believe is the owner left early during a cloudy day and told the employees they were not allowed to issue rain checks. My buddy and I got to golf 5 holes and they wouldnt even comp us for 9 holes. That in my book is very poor business practice and the fact that the person who makes the decisions leaves because she doesnt want to deal with angry customers, just show what kind of character is running things there. Will never go back even if they are the cheapest course in town.

Very friendly staff and accommodating. Was able to complete 9 holes in 1 hr 40 minutes and even after a rain the course was in pretty decent shape. Tee boxes a little beat up but greens were great. Some challenging holes but very little water and no sand makes it a little easier. Fun time and great value, although beers could be cheaper...

Easy course with okay greens. If youre expecting or want to play a country club level course then this probably isnt for you. However, what dorlon lacks in maintenance it makes up for in value. The always timely service and low rates keep me coming back. $30 all day golf? Yeah sounds good to me.

Worst course Ive ever been to. Service was horrible, we were rushed off the course by the staff, greens are in atrocious conditions. This course is comically awful. Never returning. One star does not give an accurate representation of our experience, wish I go negative.

Lady at counter horrible to our group twice. Doesnt honor coupons. Course dry as a rock. Other comments about not honoring rain checks confirms that she doesnt want repeat business.
