Overall I say a pretty boring course. Goods: fairways are big and wide, fairways are fairly well kept, bunkers are half decent and challenging (what few there are). Bads: BORING, greens on front nine are horrific, no challenges, every hole seams the same. I would say this is a close call on value. priced low but nothing special about course at all. Might come back to try out their disc golf course.

Formerly a municipal course for the northwest side of Ocala, Pine Oaks wont make you forget Pinehurst. But its always in good shape, has just enough water and trees to make it challenging but not forbidding, and rates are reasonable. Never had anything but pleasant rounds playing here.

The course is a good layout. The greens were good but with little grass on the fairways makes for a long day. I give 5 stars to the hot dog that went with the reservation and the people were very friendly.

Undulating hills, 4th hole is a challenge. The management does its best to maintain this golf course with the little money that they are given from Ocala.

Nice average course. Open/wide fairways with good amount of water hazards. Favorite hole is #4 par 5 called "The Monster".
