Gorgeous venue. The single biggest drawback is that if youre in the cheap "box seats" way way way up top at the back there is NO elevator to take you up there. Be prepared. There is a newly opened restroom up there, but no drink service. I was in Section AA seat 401 and the view was great albeit your couldnt make out details. If thats important dont get these seats. There are very few places to sit in the grand lobby pre-show while youre waiting for the main theater to open. They really do need more bench seating built just for this purpose.

I forgot how beautiful this facility is! The history and stunning architecture make visiting a blast. The shows are of course some of the top in the world. Theres a reason Cleveland Playhouse Square is second only to Broadway when it comes to theater. The staff have always been courteous and helpful. I feel like a million bucks when Im in this theater.

Beautiful theater. Classically styled. Dress circle Balcony and front center have a nice view of the smallish stage. No other seats have a very good view. The angles are overly sharp to see the deep but not wide stage. Odd.

I love the decor of this theater. I sit first row lower balcony and have no problem watching a play. I have sat on the sides and didnt like that quite as much. Broadway plays in Cleveland... I love it!

Ive seen many shows here - and this theater always amazes. Great sound quality, and all seats in the house can see the stage. As always, Playhouse Square has very nice ushers and good concessions.

The Palace Theater is gorgeous! Saw Jackie Evancho there in June, 2013. Jackie was fabulous and the theater was a perfect setting for her show. Hope that Playhouse Square brings her back again.

One of the first Playhouse Square theaters. It is still pretty comfortable. Many events are held here but we mostly see Broadway touring companies here. The venue is ideal for these.

Beautiful historic building and great atmosphere to enjoy any production. Parking is easy and its a short walk to the theater. Perfect place to take the family.
