My wife and I called ahead to ask whether we could bring our dog to a tasting. We were told yes, we could bring the dog. So upon completing the 35 minute drive, we arrive to see the vineyards dog running around - after their dog and mine do their standard greeting, their dog proceeded to bark and get aggressive towards my dog. One would think (hope) that at that point they would take steps towards controlling their dog or getting it to calm down. Instead, they kicked us out immediately. When we mentioned that their dog was causing the problem, they didnt apologize but instead said "were not going to fight you." This is not a worthwhile business to frequent - it is frustrating we wasted an hour of driving to be treated so rudely by them. And its especially frustrating as we called ahead precisely to ensure that bringing a dog would be ok - and indeed it would have been had they followed their own guidelines with their own dog.

Recenlty discovered another spot to visit on our trips to Windham. Incredibly delicious selection of wines, warm and friendly hospitality by owner and wine connoisseur, Doug. Not only a genuine (and brilliant) businessman, but a welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and most gracious host. Beautiful family and doggie. Twins Tom and Maggy are so adorable! Small but excellent winery. Its size is what makes it great. The owner, Doug makes all the wines. When youre there its more like being in Dougs house than a business. That was the best time l have ever had at a winery. If Doug ordered pizza l dont think anyone would have left. Thats how much fun it was. Say hi to Pijou. Hes the dog that will announce your arrival. First of all im from longisland ny, my friends and I have been to a ton of wineries and by far this one is our favorite. We have been at the windham vineyard three times. The owner is super friendly and has a large selection of wine to buy and taste. One of the best drinks to have here is the wine slushy!! So delicious! If you are in the area its a place you check out.

Our favorite winery of all time, seriously. We discovered this place last year while celebrating our birthdays and have decided to make it a yearly tradition to come back. Today marks our first anniversary and were having a blast!

Best experience at a winery ever. Doug is the best, always makes me and my guests feel happy when we come here often after a day of skiing. Highly highly recommend stopping in, you will definitely be back!!

Love this place have been passing by for a few years now on our trips to vermont it is so worth the detour every time. wine is amazing and the owner and his dog are great hosts.. pet friendly.

Great wines. Try the "white wine" and the diamond! Worth the stop. Plan on spending an hour or two. Very casual and owner is super attentive with great stories.

Doug is the best host his wines are very good his peach is excellent my wife made a sorbet out of the peach wine that was unbelievable will return again and again
