Played in late afternoon and this course has great views of the lake. The course itself is a a short nice course that is fun to play. Open fairways with medium size greens that are inviting. This is not a players course, but for a nice afternoon round, it should be at the top of your list. I met the owner as I was finishing and we talked for 20min about the history of the course. He could not have been nicer and it made happy to know my business was going to someone who treats his customers so well and appreciates the history of his property. Did I mention they have a brewery?!

You just cant beat the OGC for the quality, history, and beauty of the course. It is very competitive price-wise and will not disappoint. PGA rated and also mellow and so true to golfs true nature, that you will not find better anywhere. Dont cheat yourself out of a golden opportunity to play a round or two at less than half the price of Leatherstocking. Truly a treasure for all time.

One of my favorites courses to play, the first hole is right on Otsego lake, and you cant beat the view. Its one of the top 10 oldest courses in the country, and its family operated.
