Please ignore the review written 3 years ago. The employee they refer to is no longer there. I have played there as a local for more than 3 years and I have nothing but good things to say about the place and the staff. I have found the staff to be courteous, friendly and quite professional. The course has short holes because it started as a true, 9-hole par 3 course, but when the course was expanded they added 9 more holes some of which approach 400 yards. So this means I can go out with my 9-year-old and we both have fun. He can just play the short holes for instance. This year the course looks better than ever probably due to good rainfall. Everything is quite green and well cared-for. I have never had to wait in a line or call ahead for a tee-time. This is a very friendly, low-key operation that takes pride in what they have to offer. I continue to learn and become a better golfer at this course because they have such a great variety of terrain and distances to offer. The driving range and tee boxes are all grass too-- something I did not find when I played downstate this weekend. I enjoy the place every time I go there.

This golf course is a hidden gem and so close to Cooperstown, NY. It has a great driving range, both a challenging short front 9 and the back 9 with longer fairways. The view from the 12th green is a beauty and theres a unique double green in the back 9 too. The clubhouse is quaint and has low key atmosphere with snacks and cold drinks. The owner works both in groundskeeping and in the clubhouse, so theres definitely an authentic and nostalgic feel. The course is nice to walk or go with a cart spring, summer, and fall. They have a very nice pavilion available for rent for an outdoor wedding venue, family reunions, or any get together. *driving range, golf course, par three, walking, golf carts, outdoor venue, wedding, family reunion, picnic, Cooperstown, Baseball Hall of Fame, Otsego Lake

The staff is extremely rude and impolite. The “golf pro” Patrick is arrogant, patronizing and discourteous. They are far to serious for being a par 58 golf course to the point they act like they are Pebble Beach or Augusta and it is absurdly ridiculous. It is a place for amateur and beginning players and they have fooled themselves that Tiger Woods will be walking through their clubhouse door. I will never go back and I would never recommend this course to anyone, unless you like being mistreated by a bitter old “golf pro.”

Great place. Friendly people. Beautifully maintained. Dont let the short yardage fool you - this is a hard course to score well. Par 3s have tricky bunkers. Long par 4 plays like a par 5. Great views from the back 9. We felt like it was our own private golf course.
